Not like for like exactly, but in terms of squad numbers - he replaced Lallana in the summer. In fact, I dare say in some areas he offers more than Lallana at this stage and will continue to improve with more opportunities.

It's been said but worth reiterating ... another young player coming through rather than having to spend a wad getting in a big name. It gives the young players something to model and aim for. Add to that another local lad and all of a sudden you have two players, who could be around for a long time, at the heart of the team.
He's certainly good enough to get a proper go once this season is wrapped and for the duration of next season. If he kicks on, he could very well be the engine of the team for years to come.Comment

He instantly dropped into the spaces, making himself available. I was desperate for Keita and Oxlade-Chamberlain to do that, but neither of them did.
For his goal, he drops backs into the vacant space just before Salah reaches it to knock towards him. Excellent anticipation.Comment
