Not if the ball is in the back of our net.

We'll see how it pans out soon enough I suppose.
    Oh I don't know.

That last angle made it look very risky but he seems to know what he's doing. He's bound to get it wrong every so often but because it is his natural game I would be inclined to let him continue to express himself. The positives will far out way any occasional negatives.

Even at that, if teams are breaking formation to close down our keeper, I'm confident it will result in more goals for us. Our biggest problem in recent years was teams dropping 11 men behind the ball, allowing us to have possession at the back. Teams need to be compact against us and as soon as someone pushes forward, that will leave space for us to exploit.

As you say, time will tell.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

But, dribbling around attackers is asking for trouble. If I wasn't the opposition, I'd be putting pressure on him and closing him down at every opportunity. Law of averages means he'll lose the ball at some point.
If it was the same move every time maybe he'd get caught out eventually but he seems to have a load of different strings to his bow so is hard to read. Despite the supposed risks I can't find an error from him via a **** pass or bit of skill where he got caught that's cost his team a goal anywhere, there definitely wasn't one last season.

You know it's going to happen here though sooner or later and the internet will explode with anger

He's fine to do what he's doing, but he needs to make sure he goes long first time every now and again otherwise it'll become too predictable and he'll start getting charged down. That chip yesterday was magical though!

Is nothing new for him to do, and I am sure Klopp was well aware of how often he does things like that when he went in for him.

I see it as causing more good than bad for us as a team and he will help draw players in and/or make space for our guys way more often than he is caught out.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

I like that he has the confidence. What a breath of fresh air for us between the sticks and for the defence in general. From what I've seen of him so far I think he's great and I thank the stars every match we don't have Karius between the sticks. As back up I'd take Mignolet over him. Good luck to him over there though, hope he does well.

Yeah, he exhudes confidence, much as Virgil does.

He might make a mistake, all keepers make mistakes, but he seems to be robust enough and also to have the mentality to not let anything like that affect him. And that mentality and temperament is a priceless commodity.

If Messi did that there'd be wanking all over the media. It was a sublime piece of skill, well judged, smooth and controlled.

There was a wankathon over what he did though

Yeah by us but anywhere outside of LFC?

Skysports dedicated an entire article to it.

Match of the Day didn’t even include it in their extended highlights.
