The save ratio has improved markedly with Alisson, however. The Brazil international boasts a save percentage of 86 in the Premier League this season, the highest in the competition. Last season, under Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius, it was 64%, the 19th lowest.

2) How the **** did we score 7 past him over two legs last season.....!!
I didnt think he was responsible for that scoreline at the time. It did not put me off him, anyway. Their defence was meant to be tight but we completely blew them away, despite his quality.
I think I would have taken a blind quadriplegic over Mig and Karius though. Different planet.
Although... we have made one mistake leading to a goal this season (compared to how many last). He has sorted his kicking since (saying that... he does get the old heart racing on occasion).
