2 points in him -

1) It’s great that he experienced a winning one of ‘those’ Nights at Anfield.

2) How the **** did we score 7 past him over two legs last season.....!!

I didnt think he was responsible for that scoreline at the time. It did not put me off him, anyway. Their defence was meant to be tight but we completely blew them away, despite his quality.

I think I would have taken a blind quadriplegic over Mig and Karius though. Different planet.

Although... we have made one mistake leading to a goal this season (compared to how many last). He has sorted his kicking since (saying that... he does get the old heart racing on occasion).

I remember him making quite a few great saves in those two legs. Could have been 10+ conceded for them with an average keeper. We were rampant.

I can't think of any other keeper in the world who excels like Alisson in all the areas required of a modern keeper.

There is one for me and it is Manuel Neuer. Neuer for me had no weaknesses in his game and excelled in pretty much every department.

Alisson I think has the ability and talent to be as good (at the highest level) for as long as Neuer was.

Neuer is still a top keeper but Alisson is six years younger and looking good to be the next undisputed best keeper in the world.
