The thing with calf injuries is if you push too hard to get back quick the set back if it goes wrong will be massive and you could find yourself back at square one.

I think you are being sarcastic but, what the hellOriginally posted by BobTheCharmer View PostInteresting insight Doctor.

I had a grade 2 on my calf last year, rested for 4 weeks. Went back (Tennis) early, hadn’t really attempted twisting or lateral movement extensively. Then further damaged it and set back for a further 6 weeks.Modifying post.

I also had a calf tear when I trained to run a half marathon a couple of years ago ... it was totally frustrating, you have to go very very easy coming back, you overdo it and its like someone shot you in the back of the leg and you and back to -square one
Better he takes longer I say than being out for another 6 weeks after he breaks down in his first match backAnybody who criticizes Klopp ever is a James Blunt. Nov 2015

Up to 8 weeks was mentioned though which is the same thing, back after international break.Originally posted by labourRed View PostNext international break being the 20th October.
9th August - 20th October
I can't remember hearing 10 weeks but we are, as said in this thread, coy, when it comes to injuries. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
