Think he tweaked the muscle when he kicked a clearance towards the end...should have gone with his left, but went with the outside of the right and scuffed it a bit.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

That one he got injured from on Saturday was from trying to be clever and hitting it on the outside of his foot with power. Completely shanked it, usually it's a calf or quad that go when you do that (ive had a fair few quads ping over the years from trying to **** it and mistiming it
)
Our defenders really need to stop putting him under so much pressure all the time. It's fine going back to him once or twice in the play, but when they start really pressing and they give it to him with an attacker right on him it just leads to a panicked clearance."When a man insults my country I insult him, by taking his woman" Tony Yeboah

This, you could see our South Americans were off, Martinelli was off for Arsenal too, Caicedo as well and more. Crazy scheduling and I'm beginning to agree with those who are lobbying for an international month, just get it out of the way.Originally posted by Mark79 View PostAlisson's performance and injury today are both prime examples of the effects of sandwiching a 5000+ mile flight inbetween playing 2 top level games in the space 80 odd hours.* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Yeah we were using him continually and under increasing amounts of pressure.Originally posted by Harv View PostThat one he got injured from on Saturday was from trying to be clever and hitting it on the outside of his foot with power. He is decent with his feet, but not at Ederson levels (though Ederson typically receives the ball with tons of time).
Wonder how bad the tweak is?
For decent precedent though last time he tweaked his hammy we won the League

They are almost neck and neck this season with their passing. These are PL starts only.
Ederson is slightly ahead with a pass completion rate of 84.8% with Alisson on 84.1%
Alisson's worst season for us was his first season when he finished with a pass completion rate of 83.3% for the entire season.
The stats also show that Alisson receives almost 33% more "under pressure" passes (passes played to him with an opposition player less than 15 yards away when the pass is played) which backs up your comment about him having less time on the ball.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.
