Ridiculous amount of time on the sidelines for a keeper ffs, he's a bit of a crock which is becoming a theme.

It is now, but at the same time we have gotten a lot of great service fromn the best in the world, so missing time at the tail end of his career is not so bad given what we have gained from him.

Plus we have a quality number two available who would be even more comfortable as long as the outfield players do not keep making his life tougher by playing to his weaker foot every time he plays.

How about he improve his skills receiving the ball there? He's not 10 and not practiced enough. Something that basic could screw us. So frustrating to have lost Kelleher at this time.

I guess because it's a team sport and passing to your teammates stronger side, when you can, is a mutually beneficial thing?

Thats a nice outlook. But when theres pressure and defenders are forced to pass quickly? Thats when a silly goal will happen because hes weak on one side. Never had that problem with Kelleher.

As I said, pass on to the stronger side when you can.

Kelleher had a weaker foot too. It just didn't get exposed as much because he'd get the ball to his preferred foot more often than not.

Nice outlook because it is the correct one.

PIng quick balls into Ali and Kelleher left foot and see how they get on.

We do it with outfield players that are left footed, especially ones on the flanks, and generally play a pass or long ball so that they can control it quickly and be on the move.

We have done that for years for both Salah and Robertson.

Why should a keeper be any different?

Yes the ability to use your weaker foot is trainable, but as we have seen with the likes of Robertson, some players are just not great with their weaker foot and as such makes more sense to play to their stronger side than their lesser side especially when in a part of the pitch where a delay to shift one's body shape could give an opponent the time to eat up a yard or two extra to close the distance.

Reports knocking around that he has agreed a deal with Juventus and that we have agreed he can leave in the summer. No idea if it's true but a few people reporting it.

Wouldn't be surprised but at the same time I think I'll be a bit sad to see him go. Also, wish kelleher was sold with a buyback because he'd have fancied his chances in a fair competition against Mamardash i reckon
