By the time their next Prem game comes around they could be missing a handful of players, we don't know what's around the corner, they had to expect us to drop points, we did now they can too and they will. There is no reason why we cant go on to win every game and draw one ... that will do just fineAnybody who criticizes Klopp ever is a James Blunt. Nov 2015

Yeah but they are going to need it, but hey our squad when fit is not to shabby also, our bench outside our best 11 looks like this or something very simular to thisOriginally posted by Pepe79 View PostOur squad isn't as good. Best XI is, yes. But they've a better squad.

I get it but I think they have precisely 0.00% chance of getting 6 more points for the remainder of the season that BOTH City and Liverpool.Originally posted by foresterbloke View PostThey're two points behind City if they beat Burnley and either 2, 3 or 5 points behind us depending on the Utd result. That's where we said we'd be happy around this stage.

Exactly, on paper you can see why you may think they are still in it, buts highly unlikely that both Liverpool and City will **** up concurrently to let them take the title

Yeah, it's ok for a bench (bar Lallana, who's almost a non entity these days).Originally posted by Nicey View PostYeah but they are going to need it, but hey our squad when fit is not to shabby also, our bench outside our best 11 looks like this or something very simular to this

But it's a significant drop off when you need 2 or 3 of them to start in place of the first choice XI players..

i think spurs will have to win all of their games to win the league. Which will include away wins at Plastihad and Anfield - as well as beating Chelsea and Arsenal. Plus - there are no easy games in the premier league - leicester, palace, west ham and Newcastle have all proved that against us and City in the last couple of months.Originally posted by Nicey View Post

If they manage to win all of their games, then Spurs deserve the league title.
Personally, I think Man City are favourites. Not because of the fact that they are top on goal difference with an extra game played. But I just feel that their squad is better than ours and they have the experience of winning it.
I think if Bayern put us out of the champions league, then we have a good chance of the title. It would be like the Rodgers season - one game a week and a big squad not required.
I am hoping that City have hard games at Schalke (unlikely) and against Chelsea in the cup final (you never know....this 6-0 might gee them up - unlikely again though). And a tough quarter final of the CL for City would be great as well - god knows that they've had piss-easy games in the cups so far!
It is exciting times though. Would be amazing if Klopp could steer us home in 1st place.

Yep fair enough, but if we want to be champions we have to be the best team in the Lg, if that means keeping at least a point ahead of them till the end of the season or they **** up, then so be it ... if we cant, then fair play they will be deserved champions, they got lucky we got lucky, the only thing that matters is who has the most points at the end of the season.

As he always does against usOriginally posted by danperkins View PostYip, Hazard will decide to be the best player in the league that day.
It's a non-starter in so many ways but I'd absolutely love to sign him. Not least because it means we wouldn't have to play against him again. Klopp could make him incredible.

Still, against Chelsea they had Sane, D. Silva and Jesus on the bench? That's just disturbing.Originally posted by Nicey View PostYeah but they are going to need it, but hey our squad when fit is not to shabby also, our bench outside our best 11 looks like this or something very simular to this
Migs, Hendo, Shaq, Sturridge, Lovren, Milner, Lallana* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.
