Yes, we need the planets to align, keep Vvd, alisson and salah fit and playing, get over our mini injury crisis, our midfield to grow a pair and find which way is forward.
the signs are good and although we might lose the odd one its more than likely that city will also be dropping a few along the way.
It'll be a close thing, but... come the **** on lads, we're here and we are LFC
Leicester finished on 81 points. Second place was on 71 points. We're only 14 points off that total already (71) with a much better goal difference.

Leicester's season was an exception, and ours will also need to be an exception for the opposite reason with two teams finishing on 90+ quite likely.

Also, a lot has been made of our injuries on here, but really we've been really lucky with them. VvD, Allison, Salah, Firminho, Mane, Robertson, Wijnaldum - none of them have been injured.

If you'd choose which players to get injured at any point, you would put those ones at the bottom of our list. The squad has coped exceptionally well.

I would be surprised if both sides didn't have a blip. Playing teams near the end of the season that are in a relegation dog fight can be tricky. Everton & United game are stand as they will give everything to derail our title challenge. United could have a big say in the title race playing us and City. Hopin ghtey are still in mix for top 4 by the time they play City or they'll throw the game.

Klopp has managing the team so well this season, I would like to think that with less running that the last few seasons & the rotation... we should be fresh enough. It's the champs league games that might put a spanner in the works. City have a much better squad than us and this might kick in when the games come thick and fast. In saying that though, they are still in both domestic cups so squad will be stretched there. City do want that champs league badly too which might give us an edge. To be honest I would take being knocked out of champs league if we won the league, not too bothered about it this season.

It's going to go down to the wire IMO. Two quality sides battling it out, so exciting but so nervous watching the games too. It does feel like most other fans are just itching for us to fail which is strange. Every United supporter is also a City supporter which is pathetic but would we be the same if Everton were challenging them for the title!? Yikes

Was obvious something like that would happen as soon as we loaned Clyne out. Now all our "options" involve moving someone from their best position. Absolutely daft position to be in.

            Camacho or Milner imo.

Fab or Milner at RB then if Matip is fit enough to start at the weekend?

                Now I want Clyne back
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

The right side of our defence loves an injury. Clyne move always looked odd, should have sent him end of the window

Playing through the injury on Saturday probably didn't help.

Still, Palace won't be attacking us much. Leicester might.

We have big gaps between games, so he won't miss masses.

Fate didn't waste any time on that one. Jesus.

In seriousness though, the concentration of injuries in the same area is a ****er.
With the amount of injured defenders, we're already looking at now playing 2 midfielders in defence. Whilst also still having to cover injuries in midfield.

He said he injured his ankle but early reports were that he injured his knee.

He basically trod on the ball so could have injured both.

Stupid to play on as he was effectively a passenger in the first half, Firmino i think it was actually came over to the bench to say he needed changing/was struggling.

Something for Trent to learn from i guess, as it was him who wanted to play on.

Gomez is back soon but i'd prefer Milner in there.

It works out well as we won't be playing the Milner, Henderson, Wijnaldum midfield any time soon.

Once Gomez comes back, I'd expect Fabinho - Brazil's right back , to fill in.

Palace have got a goal keeper 'crisis' for the weekend. Spironi likely to play.

Man City have been amazing on many occasion but not every game - and when they e been off the pace, they’ve dropped the points. we’ve been consistently good, and that’s what has got us to the top.
