Ourselves and Citeh are massive favourites for top 2 spot each only needing the other to mess up. Spurs need both to. Not happening
    Football without Origi is nothing

Not saying it’s impossibe etc. But it’s an ask.
They have on paper 3 fairly straight forward games coming up. We could lose to Arsenal/City. City draw at Leicester or Southampton and then its a 3 way tie on 51 points going into the new year.

I think over the second half of the season they play both us and city away from home. That could be big difference. But they have done well to do what they have done.

but after that, they have 6 weeks of massive games ( bar 1 or 2); they cannot sustain it IMO

What an excellent title race. Fair ****s to Spurs and now City have to look in both directions, which is good news for us.

I said they were a good side last year and got slated for it.

They've been a good side for 4 years but it's not a popular opinion on here

Yeah they are a very good side, i'm still waiting for the big boys to come and raid their team like what used to happen to us every year.

Yep, lots of their success is because of Kane and Poch but I'd take Alli, Eriksson, Alderwiereld, Son and probably others. Poch would be the most disruptive loss to them but I'd rather Spurs made top 4 regularly than Utd

Of course we would, we've been deluding ourselves for years and look where it got us.

Spurs aren't good enough to finish above City. They just aren't. I said the same when Chelsea were on a run and even Arsenal when people were trying to make a case. City is our only concern. Finish above them, we are champions, finish below them then who cares if we're caught by Spurs or anyone else, as we'll still qualify for CL.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Not popular? People have been creaming themselves over Spurs for years on here, making them out to be the greatest team ever assembled. That's fine, each to their own, but then many of them same people would be ripping into us at every opportunity when the reality was there wasn't much between us and Spurs.

Leicester were good enough to win the league and Spurs are better now than Leicester were then. I'm not counting anything for granted but we're 6pts ahead of Spurs and that puts us in a very strong position currently. I'd rather be here now than in 2nd trying to wait for another team to slip up
