Thanjk you.

Eh? I'm just pointing out the distinction. It wasn't just the OTT praise for Spurs, but the OTT criticism of our team. Let's not forget, it was just over a year ago some people were calling for Klopp's head.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
I remember when Son was playing in the Bundesliga Mostar was on here saying that Liverpool should sign two players from Germany - Firmino and Son. Think he would be a brilliant player in Klopp team.
Eriksen is a class act too.
I think yer man Alli is a bit of a cunt though.
Spurs are a very good team - but I can't see them winning the league this season.
Not popular? People have been creaming themselves over Spurs for years on here, making them out to be the greatest team ever assembled. That's fine, each to their own, but then many of them same people would be ripping into us at every opportunity when the reality was there wasn't much between us and Spurs.
It's not popular but facts are that they have consistently finished above us so whether we like it or not, overtaking them will be an achievement.
We've finished ahead of them twice in 10 seasons, I'm over the moon that they're currently 6pts behind us. Long may that continue

Eh? I've not heard anyone anywhere calling for Klopp's head. If they did it was largely ignored for its idiocy
Just looked at the next 5 rounds of fixtures for the 50th time in the last 3 days
City away to Leicester isn't an easy game. Especially if they are still missing Fernandinho and Silva. Although KDB will start I reckon. A draw there would be brilliant. It would really put them on the ropes
If we do manage to beat both Newcastle and arsenal, then it will put big pressure on their trip to Southampton....a day after we play Arsenal.
If Pep comes out with a rant about them having 2 away games while we have 2 home games, then he will have cracked!!!

Leicester for them looks tougher than Newcastle does for us. A big part of me hopes that Rafa lets us roll them over
Arsenal is marginally tougher for us than Soton is for them but Soton appear to be going for it a bit which might make it interesting
Leicester were good enough to win the league and Spurs are better now than Leicester were then. I'm not counting anything for granted but we're 6pts ahead of Spurs and that puts us in a very strong position currently. I'd rather be here now than in 2nd trying to wait for another team to slip up
And if this was 2015 and Spurs were competing with Leicester again, they probably would beat them, however 81 points won't get you anywhere near the top this year.
Spurs are a good side no doubt, but to win the league this year you need to be a great side.

The year Spurs were competing with Leicester always makes me chuckle, them coming 3rd in a two horse race

Hate to say this but read an interesting article this morning on how Spurs have pushed their fitness levels higher. Not sure if this is just common place but they will play past the point where most managers would rest them for another game or so before being rested. The result is raised fitness levels beyond their previous ceiling. Not sure how provable this is but apparently Poch has an excellent eye for it
