Looking at our fixtures, it's some ****in rollercoaster isn't it. Like the Rodgers season really......some ****in run in. Although this year we have CL too. I think the next champions league round will tell a lot. City have been jammy as **** with their cup fixtures all year. That will change in next round of the CL. Id ****in love if the got Spurs. Don't want city in the CL - I genuinely think they'd look to injure us

The media reaction to Man City's 'soft' penalty compared to the Salah ones that everyone wanted to make a deal about, is pretty staggering.
The opinion on MotD and the American tv stream I watched last night was virtually identical.
They were both saying it was a pen and not mentioning anything about how easy Silva went down. They're also going a step further by saying that even if it wasn't a pen, City dominated and deserved the win anyway so it's still justified either way.
I don't remember anyone making that excuse for Salah/Liverpool, whose pens came in 4-0 and 5-1 wins and weren't decisive or even the go ahead goals..
