Thanjk you.

When City beat Swansea tomorrow, that means their home league game against Cardiff scheduled for Apr 6th will become FA Cup Semi-final day. We play Southampton the night before which - assuming we and they haven't dropped other points before this point - could put us 5 points clear and 2 PL games ahead.
They will catch up one of those games against United on the 24th. If they don't win that game, our home match against Huddersfield two days later could put us 7 or 8 clear, with them at Burnley 2 days later (although this is likely to get moved back to the Saturday assuming they progress in the UCL).
There's also the small matter of their rearranged fixture with Cardiff. Assuming they do make it to the UCL semis, there is literally no window in April for them to play the Cardiff fixture. The only possibility I can see is this fixture being played on May 9th, 2 days after their UCL semi 2nd leg, and 3 days before their final game of the season at Brighton on the 12th.
In short, if they win their FA Cup quarter-final against Swansea (they will), and progress in the UCL (less certain but probably), they play 12 games in 37 days, including some really tough runs of games and playing catch-up in league games until 3 days before the end of the season.

Going out the domestic cups has kept our legs fresh and also the 3 weeks when FA cup and PL clashed we'll fulfil the weekend fixtures as the other team is out as well, add in LC final. City have 4 extra fixtures to cram in midweek.
Also us playing Friday night before CL QF and Semi makes life easier, no real need to rotate going into these final few weeks.
All the tension due to the league seems to be slipping away with the added bonus of a free hit in the CL. Its the worlds best insurance policy if we don't win the league we can just win the greatest club competition instead.
Though for a while we'll do the proper double of League and European Cup, and City do the mickey mouse double of LC/FA cup
Despite the fact we have a more favourable run in, we still need to temper expectations a little bit. We can still not achieve anything trophy wise, but that won't mean there has been no progress.

I like you a lot. Not in a weird way obviously.
Always complete logical sense and pretty good insight.
