FWIW I think we are 50/50 with City based on squads and fixtures and the current position, it's going to be an exciting run in and whatever happen, it's been a season of great progress and will set us up to continue our ascent next year. Perhaps the 80/20's and the 40/60's can team up and we can have a 3 way slagging match for the next few weeks, you know, just to keep us entertained.

Its possible to win but its less of a chance than City. If you think thats speaking out of my arse then you and whoever agrees with that are just wanting to attack someone with a more realistic view. We need to go back to pressing and adding long shots. We're bloody laboured as all hell and boring to watch. Also too many draws. Can see us coming 3rd if things stay the same. Been lucky in too many games this season and that game should have been a loss. Extremely lucky.

Drew 2 to everton and united and won the rest since then while getting past the mighty Bayern in the CL

Oh for sure, half of it is saying to oneself we wont win so we dont feel bad when it happens. Totally viable reason. But again, none of you who are calling me out are denying that their squad depth is better. If we had lost VD the other day we'd be on our way to some very nervy times. City dont really have that issue. We didnt get the injury luckily. But the fact that we CAN get this is a reason we are a little lower. Some of you happily throw insults at me for the way I see things and thats fine, no worries. But how many of you expected us to roll on perfectly after we lost Gomez? Those 2 months where we threw away a 9 point lead? You're seriously telling me its not possible we could trip up? Its always possible. Especially with an injury or half a first team squad thats tired. And again, some of our upcoming games, the teams wont roll over like they will for City. There are more reasons why its harder for us than it is for them.

We didn;t throw away the lead there are 38 games in season. During that season there will be runs of tough games. in that 2 months we played City, Everton and United away.....I think even the most optimistic of supporter would see City closing the gap in that time and yes we had a couple of dodgy results in there, but it boils my piss that people seem to think that if we dont win it, We bottled it due to the lead we had.

Whatever mate. I personally dont think we'll win it, you do. We have our reasoning. Neither of us are more superior than the other. If you think one of us is then you have problems. My snark comment about racism is pointing out how things could escalate to stupid territory, but even that you didnt pick up on and its somehow me being thick. I'm over any sort of debates on here.

In summary, nobody really knows, but:
-Those who are saying "yes we will" are just enjoying the opportunity to get swept up in the excitement as you'd expect many fans might enjoy
-Those who are saying "no we will not" are being extraordinarily negative given how tight it is, and more than this are in some however small way poisoning the atmosphere around the club with their defeatism

All I know is it was later in the day when we lost it in 2014. It's clear no one is 100% either way so there's no point in bickering over 10%-40%.

I booked an airbnb in November for 12th May to see the parade on Monday. I've also booked a flight to Barcelona(£26) for the CL Semi Final. Probably drive to Madrid for the Final. No pessimism here. We're going win the feckin lot!
