TBH I don't think we are going to win this, but if we don't the only difference is the immense financial doping of which they've been accused. Can't believe this gets so little attention when people are whingeing about refs. Otherwise, this is the best LFC team ever and deserves to win both the PL and the CL.

Of course we could win neither, but I feel positive. We have a fantastic base both in the squad and financially. So long as Klopp doesn't run off we absolutely will win a big trophy this year or in the next few.

Of course it would also be nice if UEFA actually pulled their snouts out of the trough.

I think what people aren't talking about is the pressure we are putting psychologically on City. Everyone is saying how amazing they are blah blah blah but yet we just won't let up and are getting better and better. They must be thinking what the ****! All we need is a seed of doubt to get in for their tough run in.

We did what we needed to today, the next 3 games involving us and City. They play Spurs next Saturday, we play at Cardiff on Sunday then they have Man Utd the following midweek. Obviously we have to win all our games, but City have to drop points in one (or both) of those games for us to have a chance. That makes the next 10 days massive and I think that there will be a huge psychological shift depending on the results.

It's got to be bugging them, we are playing with a fearless emotional control getting through tough fixtures. They haven't looked great lately really, still winning but I think we look a better side. Utd are pathetic in big home games but winning away there with the pressure of having to win won't be easy. I'm a bit less hopeful about the Spurs game, Wednesday night then Saturday morning is horrible for Spurs given both are away and they can't freshen it up like City can, Kane already injured etc but we'll see.
