Arsenal have surprised us all, including themselves
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
I think last night was their first clean sheet away from home all season and that was against 10 men. Generally they've been pretty poor away from home.
They are decent at home and good going forward, but just very typical Arsenal.
What have I missed that has some seeing them as title contenders next year (as I seen mentioned in another thread IIRC)?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

They haven't done much, I'm not suggesting that they are title contenders next year I just think that based on their current position and remaining games they are right in the mix for top 4. With the games that they have left, I think that they should get at least 9 points which would make it difficult for the sides that we need to get results against City Manchester utd in particular.

2017/2018 34. Round Tottenham Hotspur - Manchester City 1:3 (1:2)
2017/2018 18. Round Manchester City - Tottenham Hotspur 4:1 (1:0)
2016/2017 22. Round Manchester City - Tottenham Hotspur 2:2 (0:0)
2016/2017 7. Round Tottenham Hotspur - Manchester City 2:0 (2:0)
2015/2016 26. Round Manchester City - Tottenham Hotspur 1:2 (0:0)

Not hopeful that Spurs can get points from City...
Nope, don't need anger management, you just need to stop pissing me off!

Hello Mr Reet, me again
They'll finish 3rd with a new manager, odds are they'll improve next season. Perhaps it's a stretch to say they'll e contenders, it was tongue in cheek, but they'll finish comfortably in the top 4 IMO

Yep, their form from xmas would reflect their standing in the table so with some decent acquisitions in defence will make them tougher to beat...top class manager, no doubt.

Although I wouldn't be confident backing them in any of their away games (Leicester, Wolves, Burnley), even if on paper they should win.

Hi Danperkins Norbs.
That's fair enough, I have no strong opinion either way. I haven't seen much to suggest they are any better or any worse than Wenger in recent years (bar his last maybe), so that's why I was wondering.
I can't really disagree as it wouldn't surprise me if they finish 3rd, but I'll be even less surprised if they finish 6th.
Anyway, this is the title race thread, why am I asking about Arsenal?
