You total dickheads, it's called tempting fate! FFS, do you think I'd **** about with a match preview if I didn't believe?

If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Yeah, total dickheads! Imagine taking someone at their word and not realising it was part of some hare-brained psychology! What were you all thinking?

2 things that are making me feel positive today.

                1. Utd actually have a decent record at home in the League. They don’t lose at home often at all.

                2. As of right here right now whose position would you rather be in? Ours 2 points clear at the top? Or there’s game in hand with tough away derby to come? I’d argue there not much in it. Imagine we were two points behind with an away game at OT to go top... we’d be nervous as **** no matter what form we were in.

Form goes out the window in games like this and the fact Utd need the points and a performance has to matter.

A draw. That’s all we need then it’s on us to deliver.

We need a bit of luck...like Fernandinho getting sent off after 10 mins due to a nasty challenge etc. Or a brilliant Utd performance! I see the negativity as a psychological defence mechanism. If you convince yourself it's City's title now, the blow is lessened if it happens. It's all bollox though - what we think makes no difference. Their tired legs have to keep running and they know that if they slip, we will be there....

Only difference is, if it were us the OT crowd would be fired up and spurring their team on against us. City will face a much more relaxed, maybe even almost supportive atmosphere in some sections of their crowd.
As much as Ole will want and need a result.

                      A draw would be amazing.

In the last 10 games, Liverpool have won 8 and drawn 2, with 10 wins for City. It'd be ironic if that 4-0 Everton win between the two teams that hate us and celebrated those draws like wins caused Utd to up their game against City and get a result.

It's football and it's a funny old game as Greavsie used to say... Under normal circumstances, this looks like a City win all day long. It's not though and there is a groundswell around Ole's under-performing superstars needing a result, it's the derby, it's three games from the end of the season, City are without de Bruyne, City are still scoring in the first five mins then struggling to add to it. They weren't great against Spurs and looked a bit lethargic. Anything could happen tonight...

I'm more just focused on us beating Huddersfield, Newcastle and Wolves and making sure City have to win all of their games to take the prize...

And I've ordered the new home shirt to take my mind off it all... :-)

I guess it's no secret that City have scored a ****e load of goals recently in the first 10 mins of a game. I think if United can stand the early pressure, it will be a good sign

An early Man Utd goal to get the fans up for it would be just the gut punch I'd like to see City suffer.
