The much vaunted "twists and turns" don't seem like they will be putting in an appearance anytime soon.
Our only remaining hope looks like Vardy's ability to get through on the counter-attack while they (Leicester) are not trailing. Even if Brighton are still battling to avoid relegation their attack is so poor they won't be posing too many questions for the manc's defence, and their back-line won't hold out for 90 minutes.
It's all on Brendan now to get a performance out of his team. If they get at least a draw and we end up winning he'd demand a seat on the parade bus.

'bottled' may be harsh but we can't deny we had a decent margin of error that was frittered away against poor teams - and it's all the more frustrating that two of those poor teams were the red mancs and the bitters.Originally posted by ChesterDave View PostI see some media... 'Twists and turns' only happen to us. Gerrard slipped and City went on to win the final 6 games of the season in 13/14.Originally posted by BootRoom View PostThe much vaunted "twists and turns" don't seem like they will be putting in an appearance anytime soon.
City has won 15 of the last 16 games of the league, so **** knows where these 'twists and turns' are.

I was more referring to the 10 points than the bottling it.Originally posted by BootRoom View Post'bottled' may be harsh but we can't deny we had a decent margin of error that was frittered away against poor teams - and it's all the more frustrating that two of those poor teams were the red mancs and the bitters.
Edit, and in reality at the start of the season you'd probably settle for two home wins and two away draws if you were offered.Football without Origi is nothing

It was only ever a truly a 7 point lead. The gap was 10 points but City hadn't played their game yet in that round of fixtures. Which they played and won.Originally posted by ChesterDave View PostI see some media... 'banter' outlets are desperate to push the agenda we bottled a 10 point lead agenda

Think it was more not extending a proper 7pt lead when City had their blips. West Ham and Leicester draws for me. No shame in getting beat by City away, though the draw at home didn't help us.
Spurs or ManU were my hope, but circumstances and ****ness got in the way."I will make the boys feel your support"

Exactly. The the same logic would mean we can win all our games since Fulham when we finished the match top and bottle the league. The same logic means we've just bottled the league because we were two points clear after beating Huddersfield. It's the logic of the witless!Originally posted by spider-neil View PostIt was only ever a truly a 7 point lead. The gap was 10 points but City hadn't played their game yet in that round of fixtures.
