Hardly owned it tbf this season, if they win it looks like it will only be one point difference. Lesson is we need to go for the jugular a bit more next season and convert some of those draws to wins. We will be in the mix and a go all the way again I’m sure.Originally posted by vlahka View PostThis must be what it feels like to be a german or italian football fan if you arent a bayern or juventus supporter. If City do win the league, they would have won 18 out 19 games in the second half of the season. Dropping two just two points.Originally posted by BootRoom View Post'bottled' may be harsh but we can't deny we had a decent margin of error that was frittered away against poor teams - and it's all the more frustrating that two of those poor teams were the red mancs and the bitters.
That is an unprecedented run in, so I don't think you in any way legitimately say that the league was frittered away.Oh I don't know.

I’m pretty much all out of hope.
The last flicker is Leicester. Arguably in better form than any of the other teams they have played recently. A guy like Vardy can score against anyone.
This is the sort of game where Brendan can make a bit of a statement.
A small chance is better than no chance.Modifying post.

Just needs to be one. Which obviously means it's Monday or bust.Originally posted by Rich View PostI think that’s us done now. Can’t see City dropping points against Leicester and Brighton. Always had my hopes that Burnley might get something out of the game after City’s run of tough games.
Their ran has been totally insane.

Agreed. Be heartbreaking though if we dont win either PL or the CL. I think we'll win the CL, which to us will seem like a consolation prize but acrualky is the bigger prize.Originally posted by Tee View PostIF we miss out, come back stronger and harder next season. We will do this under Klopp.Brandt - Keita - Van Dijk - Sessegnon

Man you just got to enjoy it, feeling ****ed off about nearly never or anything along those lines focuses on the negativelyOriginally posted by Norbs View PostAbsolutely the same. Not enjoyed it and it now feels that all that energy has been for nothing.
Happiness is not the absence of bad news its how you process it
City won their first title right at the very last moment, nothing is off the table yet
I would argue Leicester managed by B Dog is their toughest test, I watched his team take apart Arsenal yesterday and some of the movement his players carried out was very reminiscent of his most exciting Liverpool team or the Swansea side that played Arsenal off the park before that, Also the directness that they go to Vardy over and over again is tailor made for we City we dont defend you defend approach
Keep her steady

Both teams have 6 points to play for, its far from over. Best case we win by 5 points, worst case we lose by 7 points. With several variables in between
Regardless of the outcome this season has been an outstanding success. Klopp and the squad have made me fall back in love with football, something I began to think I would not experience again in my lifetime
