Nobody will be winning the title with less than 95 points until guardiola leaves.

Admire this optimism but we have lost 1 game all season, you can't really expect an improvement or to even match it

City will bang out 95 point seasons until guardiola leaves.

The title is out of reach now for everyone else which won't be good for PL popularity.

Before this season I'd have said it must be quite boring for pep too... Ironically we may end up motivating him to stay.

If we don't win the league it is important how we bounce back, we could react in a couple of ways, we could be inspired by the fact we pushed a great side all the way and we are capable of 90+ points which should be a league winning total. The other thing we could do is as some on here have been saying which is basically what's the point we've got 90+ points and still can't win it. I don't think the players will react this way and I obviously hope they don't but there is a danger that some of the players don't react the right way.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I'm totally confident Klopp will know what to do to re-motivate the players and with more dynamic midfielders* we'll get the extra points to sink City.

I also think Salah will bag 30 goals next season. This one has been an odd one for him, he wasn't right in the head until recently and the shoulder injury hampered him up until Xmas

If we win our final two games we'll have dropped a grand total of 17 points all season.

Maybe Guardiola will **** off this summer, he will know that we will bounce back and be even better next season, best for him to leave on a high and not give Klopp the chance to beat him. Klopp will beat him next season if not this one. So if City win this title, this will Pep's last one in England.

Some murmurings of Guardiola going to Juventus. Not sure why, they piss their league every season anyway.

He would probably be the first manager to win titles in Spain, Germany, England and Italy.

And that Kelly bloke on twitter was insinuating there was something going regarding City and UEFA FFP, that they couldn't win the CL next season, so if that's true maybe Pep wants out.

On the other hand, the ****er has two years to run on his contract.

Champions League is his entire reason for being at Citeh. If he doesn't win it there then his tenure will be seen as a relative failure. Much like his time at Bayern.

Id love to see someone give Raheem a proper kicking one day. The amount of antagonistic **** he gets away with is absurd. Where the **** is Lee Catermole when you need him FFS.

Happiness is not the absence of bad news its how you process it

City won their first title right at the very last moment, nothing is off the table yet

I would argue Leicester managed by B Dog is their toughest test, I watched his team take apart Arsenal yesterday and some of the movement his players carried out was very reminiscent of his most exciting Liverpool team or the Swansea side that played Arsenal off the park before that, Also the directness that they go to Vardy over and over again is tailor made for we City we dont defend you defend approach

                                Keep her steady

Although City will be at home and they might have the crowd noise blaring over the speakers, I think Leicester could surprise us alright.

I watched the highlights of the Leicester v Arsenal game. 3-0 flattered Arsenal. Their goalie Leno was a contender for man of the match. I am hoping that the likes of Ndidi will press City in midfield but the pace at which Leicester transition has the potential to hurt City. I just hope that Kompany starts the game as opposed to Stones. Because Vardy, Maddi son et al have the potential to hurt City.

As for the last day of the season - Brighton are ****e. However, there was a glimmer of hope in some peoples rationale thinking that if they needed a point to stay up and they defended with their lives, then it is possible that Brighton get a draw. I don't think so. Man City have had teams put 11 men behind the ball for the last 2 seasons and it hasn't made a difference. They only drop points when teams have a ****in go. If you watch when they lose to Palace and Leicester around the turn of the year, that is what happened. They both took the City game as a free hit and said to themselves, **** it if we try to defend then we might get a respectable 2-0 defeat. Lets have a ****in go. Lyon in the CL did the same. That is why they aren't that good in cup football (this season doesn't count - Everton could have been on for a domestic cup double this season had they got the luck of the draw that City have had this season). So perhaps there is a glimmer of hope that Brighton actually have a ****in go instead. Seriously doubt it though.

As for LFC going forward.....Klopp will make this team even better. I think City were lucky with when some of their key fixtures were this season. They played Arsenal away at the start of the season when Emery was just getting started. They played Man United away when the Ole feel-good factor had died off and De Gea was going through his David James phase. It is those little differences that could be pivotal next year. Plus I think we will improve from an attacking perspective over the season. We were lightning last year. But this year we have been ****in safe as houses at the back. The last 2 months or so we have been able to find the perfect balance of the 2. We bring that into next season and add some strength in depth so we have someone better than Sturridge and Origi on the bench, and nobody is living with us next year.
