We def won't be going to **** this time, ya can barely find better anywhere than our goalie, full backs, Virg and attack and Naby and Fabinho are coming right in to it now too. I get why people fear it but we are stacked with quality everywhere now. Whether it'll ever be enough to overcome financial dopers who are probably also bunging refs is another matter but we should defo put up 90 points plus again next season.

I didn't watch it, just saw the result and it was as I expected. City haven't looked like dropping points they were always going to find a way.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Tried watching a film. Checked score at half time, nil nil. Then on 59 minutes. Same. Then on 88 minutes. ****ing cunts. Feels like it's just never going to happen. It is the hope that ****s you. Work tomorrow, cant be arsed. So deflated even though I expected it. They havent conceded in how long now?
We'll probably play better at times next season and lose more. VAR is going to make it even harder.

Just watched the highlights - you couldn’t make it up, an absolute worldwide by Kompany and other than that Leicester looked pretty comfortable. Added to that if Ineacho had any composure he’d have taken a touch and probably got a pen.Originally posted by Irishnev View Post
- City away 2-1 and we were cheated when Kompany didn’t get sent off and the universe conspired against us to the tune of about 20mm
I’ve made peace with it now - we are brilliant but this is a year too soon for us, we’ll win the lot next season.

100% agree, we have some depth but the quality is not thereOriginally posted by Leyton388 View PostWe need to go out this summer and buy more firepower. Lose any of the front 3 and we suffer where Abu dhabi FC have Sane, Jesus and Mahrez.
Just look at the state of the front tomorrow with Bobby and Salah out."Its not about the long ball or the short ball, its about the right ball." Bob Paisley

Yeah despite a great season and city's money we had it in our hands and having built that 7 point lead let it slip. Such fine margins. The 2 draws with West ham and Leicester were poor, more so the West ham one. We weren't at the races. Utd and Everton games also stick as we did little to force a goal. I think for a time there the not losing took precedent over going for the win. Shame. I don't see us ever hitting quite the heights again but maybe we will. Big season next year. Still slim chance on Sunday.Always borrow money from a pessimist. He won’t expect it back. Oscar Wilde

I saw the first half. Went to an Alliance Party celebration party. Making NI more Liberal is tough work with minimal resources but last week's councillor results were a mini victory.Originally posted by dom9 View PostHow is that function going?
It's actually staggering how small party budgets are.

I'll tell you were I stand at the start of the season. We've a very solid base but key players stayed fit nearly all season. We need to be more resilient and I've had too many scoops to detail the holes in the squad but there are some.Originally posted by Pepe79 View PostTotally different circumstances this time though.

The narrative out of the squad is we won't spend big but I'm hoping we do as we should have 100m plus sales and a good margin on wages next year. Naturally saying we're ****ing loaded in the media and we'll be going large wouldn't be the smartest of things to do.
