I've made peace with us not winning it this year after getting to the European Cup final.
Not that ill be complaining if we do win it
but it would be a bit weird winning it on Sunday, lots of people I know haven't bothered coming to Liverpool and cancelled hotels etc. The next title we win will be the best by a mile, snatching it at the last minute with everyone off guard doesn't feel like us and we've hoping for a city slip more than enjoy our own team the last few weeks. Winning it by being 10 ahead for weeks with no tension doesn't sit right either, being 3-4 points ahead and having weeks of glorious fun counting down the games leading to the massive end of season finale seems the right way. I'm also unsure what my purpose in life and going the match will be once its won.
Insane I know but the fact i'm not absolutely desperate to cry it in is because we've got a cracking manager and team and are definitely going to do it in the next 2-3 years.

It’s been a weird week for sure. Last Saturday at 2-2 with 4 minutes left I was stood in the pub thinking. ****. It’s not going to happen.
I was thinking how disappointed the players would be. To be so good and come away with nothing. Then big Div came along and reinstalled hope.
Then the City game. 70 mins of hope then, ‘****’. I really thought Leicester would get a draw. So I kind of thought that was it... because the Champions League was gone.
I wasn’t even that arsed at kick off on Tuesday. Put in a good performance and get a win - that was all I hoped for.
Early goal. Ok, there is a chance here.
Half time. Well, if we have one of the best half’s in the history of the time I’ve watched football we could get close.......
And then.
We are only in the ****ing final.... unbelievable.
I’ve given up hope so many times over the last seven days I don’t know what to expect anymore. Just keep on watching and hoping I guess?
I’m 4 beers in again. It’s the only way to cope

I'm just going to enjoy it. There's no pressure on the lads now and it's Anfield so they can enjoy it.
All the pressure is on City, I think they'll crumble finally the pricks. Brighton are going to play the game of their lives and ruin it for them ha ha ha!
I'm ****ing deluded but I really couldn't give a ****. We're in the European Cup final, we have amazing fans, a wonderful team and the best manager any team could hope for. Lots of positive things to think of going forward so the lads have a great chance now to become legg ends.
