I'm going to the pub (a rare thing football wise these days) with zero expectations and I'm just going to enjoy the day. *
If you'd said to City 14 games ago "you need to win your last 14 games of the season to win the league by a point", most of us would have taken those odds.
It's been an amazing season, and today is not even the end of it. A Champions League final to come. We'll be looking back at these times forever.
* until some incompetent referee contrives to cruelly snatch the title from us in the 95th minute.Oh I don't know.

Yes, even in recent times teams have gone into the final day even closer but nothing like on this scale of points. The Premier League is the most watched in the world and even more keenly those eyes will be watching today. The Brighton players can be part of history today and make themselves known the world over. Surely they won't want to end the season with a wimperFootball without Origi is nothing

Agree but might not be much they can do given the clear chasm in quality between the teams. We can only hope this is the one in hundred day.....Originally posted by ChesterDave View PostYes, even in recent times teams have gone into the final day even closer but nothing like on this scale of points. Mad to think there could be the most wild celebrations in town later and around other parts of the country even. More likely there’s 100 rats outside the Etihad and a load of dickheads on social media revelling in us being “bottlers” but ya never know. Be surprised if Brighton do much, no pace and no goal threat doesn’t work v City but hopefully they can fluke one and cling on!
On June 1st our season will still be the envy of every football team on this earth anyway.

Thats the spirit. Us Aussies dont need sleep!Originally posted by foresterbloke View Post**** it, I'm going to forgo sleep and stay up to watch the match.
Even if we don't win the league, it's been a pleasure to watch a team of winners with even more improvement to come.
Also I'll be cheering for Salah to win the Golden Boot!
