    League Cup 2018/19

3rd round draw, we've got Chelsea

    #2
We face Chelsea twice in the same week. At home in the Carabao Cup, and then away in the league fixture.

I wasn't paying attention, I was looking for the CL draw, Chelsea fans are probably more excited for this one
      * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

They don't have a lot of choice really

Oh, it's seasons like this when I wish we had fans of other clubs here

Chelsea fans are hardly arsed about their own club, let alone any other club

Look at these after the international break:

                Sep 18/19 - UCL game 1
                Sep 22 - Southampton
                Sep 25/26 - Chelsea (H) - Carabao Cup
                Sep 29 - Chelsea (A)
                Oct 2/3 - UCL game 2
                Oct 7 - Man City (H)

Wow, imagine if works out to be Chelsea (h), Chelsea (a), PSG, Man City (h) in that order

Could make or break our season that run of games. Come out of that without loosing the important games would see us in good form and picking up points off league/CL rivals & a winning momentum. Lose some of those important fixtures and we may be chasing points later in the respective tournaments and needing to get some form back. Either way it will be a very fine/exciting run of fixtures!

No way we put anything other than a second string into this even if it is Chelsea.

                      Migno

                      Clyno
                      Matip
                      Lovren
                      Moreno

                      Fabinho
                      Lallana
                      Hendo/Milner/Gini

                      Shaq
                      Sturridge
                      Origi

                      Still a pretty strong XI

That's not a bad side all things considered

We should get that side to start training together to gel from the get go.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Time to put off cancelling my sky/bt contracts for another month and a half.
