Honestly, would take 2 draws in the next league games. Would represent excellent results. Would love to win but that would be a bonus. The way we're playing at the moment, we can't rule it out. Been superb so far. Playing within ourselves and still winning comfortably.

Happy that Matip is back and he got on the scoresheet. I know he lost form last season, but I think he's a really good player. Apart from 1 or 2 slightly dodgy moments he was very good.

have to say that although its great we are not slipping up and dropping any points, its good that we havent had to play in top gear. with some better opposition coming up we will hopefully be able to step up a level as we did at times vs psg.

I can see us transfer some of that CL playoffs form of last season into our league games with Chelsea and City... It's a kinda similar situation to that campaign, though it's early the players have surely sensed that they are capable of winning it! Salah was smiling again today, Shaqiri looks like a proper reinforcement, Fabinho and Keita still to get there, defence and keeper are ****in mint for the first time in quite a while and we've got older guys like Milner, Wijnaldum and Henderson still improving.
I can just see them harrasing City and Chelsea players until they won't know what hit them. I predict a draw vs. Chelsea in the Carabao, and wins in the league against them, City and Huddersfield, and Napoli & Red Star in the CL as our next 6 games.

Not to put a dampener on things but the only two positions I pray never get injured this season are goalkeeper and left back.

Their backup is rather disconcerting..

I'd hate to see Moreno on the pitch. I think he could actually **** up Wednesday night for us. But if Andy Robbo got injured or suspended, then I'd be okay seeing Milner slot back in there
