I think Chelsea is as good squad wise as City and will be the other team challenging this season, especially with Hazard in such outstanding form.

It's quite significant that we would mis Van Dijk, but this is one of the games you would not want him to miss.
    Are we winning?

Last line is a bit, well yeah.

Not sure their squad is as good as City's but the coach seems very astute

Think we will have a bigger increase of quality than them from the teams that played midweek.

Feeling pretty confident that we can turn them over as long as we are on our game. They are a very good team, but so are we.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

They have a squad as good as anyone. They won the league the previous year remember.

I am confident but we would have to take our chances and make sur we don't give anything away, which could be a big ask as we haven't been firing on all cilinders yet.

Well if it's bruised ribs then I guess there would be no long term worry as long as he can cope with the pain.

True & I hope we don’t have to rely on that pairing too often either but I’m less concerned about it than say 12 months ago
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Virgil seems to make whomever is beside him better, he's a genuine world class CB. I don't think there's a CB as good as him around at this moment.

Normally I would said rest him. But Giroud will make Matip or Lovren look silly. Heck Morata made Lovren look stupid, just that he's a ****e finisher.

Chelsea will look to beat our press with balls up to Giroud and for Hazard to follow up. VvD will stop all that ****.
                      One tit for another.

Hopefully this is officiated well today. Lost count of the number of times we've been ****ed over v these even going back to the first Mourinho days with Makelele hauling down Sinama Pongolle, Tiago playing basketball in the area from a corner, Lampard doing Alonso then them scoring of a Joe Cole ****ing deflection from a corner that was a clear goal kick to us. Then more recent times like Eto'o absolutely mauling Suarez in the area and no penalty, Oscar trying to end Lucas Leiva's career, even last year Hazard barged Coutinho over in the area then they scored a fluke when we had been trying to make a sub which the ref ignored.

Luckily for us we've got the great 'dre Marriner who just gormlessly watched and did nothing as Erik Pieters commited the most blatant handball of the season v us in the final minutes last season.

I always remember the one where their player planted the boot firmly in to the small of our players back 2 inches from the lino who gave nothing
                            Football without Origi is nothing

                              Yep. Nothing to see here.

The Finnan Malouda penalty was one of the worst calls I've ever seen too. If anything Malouda fouled Finnan, that one was so bad Styles actually come out and apologised afterwards. Not that it's much use after the event!

You forgot about the Reina debacle with Robben after his brilliant tackle on Gudjohnson (post hand ball btw).

The Tiago one always pisses me off though. It's like I can't get it out of my head regardless of how long ago it was. It was the first moment that confirmed Mourinho and his 'generals' were absolute cunts on every level. 15 years later it's more defining than ever.
