We genuinely deserved that goal, would have outrageous not getting something there. Chelsea are a very strong side but I do think we were the better side in both games this week whilst not being at our best.

Mo's form is slightly worrying but he's so close to moments of brilliance. Just snatching at chances and then trying too hard, Mane & Bobby struggled too though. Gini once again imperious our player of the season so far. Thought Hendo had a stinker, we looked so much better when naby came on. Thought Alisson should have done bit better for the goal but other than that he was quality. There is no CB in world football better than VVD.

Great point and deserved after that kick in the bollox during the week.

Am not really worried about Salah's form.

He is coming off of a bad injury and a lot of political pressurein his private life, not to mention he is being doubled up on in every game now.

But despite all that he is still getting into good positions and still having good moments in games. Is pretty much a matter of iches and seconds being out of whack right now for him.

Also I think we were expecting him to start this season like he finished the last, when instead he has started closer to how he started last season.

It will click for him, and as long as we are picking up the points and his form does not totally fall off a cliff, I am happy to let him try to get played back into form
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Agree with most of that - Gini was amazing and is getting far more involved this season. He rarely loses the ball and is able to hold off players with ease.

Alisson - I think it’s harsh tbh, Hazard took it v early and it went right across him, he nearly saved it. He made two massive saves from big chances and he earned us a point rather than costing us one.

I’ve seen Hendo get bashed by everyone yet he wasn’t “that bad” was he....I don’t remember shouting at him when watching the game - I can’t wait for Fabinho to get to speed and although I’m not a Hendo fan I didn’t think he was that bad.

Duncan Castles in the Sunday Times gave Gini and Gomez 5 each in his ratings. Had Chelsea well ahead of Liverpool yet the Liverpool came out on top on all the stats that matter. Gave Salah a 4.

Loved this little slice of defending, leaving aside the question around allowing it to happen etc etc.....Willian was tiring fair enough at this point in the game, but he's no slouch, but the recovery pace from both lads was exceptional.

I'd ask what game he was actually watching, but you know what to expect with Castles really.

Yep, that's the gist of most of the replies.

Henderson simply has to get the hook the minute we fall behind against a team with the capability of defending solidly. He just becomes a passenger shanking crosses and overplaying Hollywood balls, when we need something going forward he just isn't up to it in these six-pointers. Keita should have been on way earlier - that guy can thread passes Hendo can only dream of. Not dumping on Hendo here, he has his place and role but 1.0 down away at Chelsea or their ilk, and needing something a cut above to unlock them - that's not it.

Keita and Shaq noticeably enlivened a previously anonymous Bobby as well.

Salah is doing everything right but is over-thinking it a little at the key moments. He'll come good, if nothing else he keeps opponents busy and fees up space for others.

Really grated me seeing how Hendo and Salah responded to being subbed off, of course they were frustrated but I don't think showing it does anyone any favors, and gives Klopp more questions from the journos.
                            * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Yeah Naby's cameo was good and gave us everything we'd been missing from midfield. Had a nice moment where he won the ball in our half, linked up with Bobby and ended up getting a shot off, then for the equaliser it was him dribbling past Kante and Jorginho like they don't exist that ended up with Barkley's **** clearance, giving it back to us, Naby was still high up the pitch and open so Kante had to go in and cover leaving Sturridge a bit of extra space. Not buying this narrative that he's started slow either, he's been good and our best displays of the season v West Ham and Spurs come with him starting, not surprisingly as I don't think the current 3 function particularly great as a midfield, they are good but there's limited attacking threat and link up with the front 3. We've missed Chamberlain a hell of a lot.

yeah we needed something different in the last 20 minutes but that's not to say that we didn't create any chances with Henderson on the pitch
