    -------------------

    This is it!

After a disappointing loss to Napoli, we have to pull our socks up and go all in to beat Man City and keep our league charge alive!

Keita will likely be out, Salah is out of form but Shaqiri and Sturridge are champing at the bit to have a go, with goals and assists between them.

Not looking forward to this one now after our poor showing with a full strength team in Naples. The front three need to get their mojo back & I hope it’s soon.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

I'd be very surprised (and relieved) if Aguero didn't start but I think he will.

                          Klopp press conference...

                          'Naby Keita has a chance'

“He had a back spasm and so we have to wait a little bit. He will be in today. If he can do something on the training ground, I don’t know.

“Tomorrow, we have to decide. It didn’t look too serious so there’s a chance, but we don’t know.”

                          'Desperate to have Ox back'

Jurgen Klopp on Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain: "Ox is not to be replaced, that is key. I cannot think about him at the moment unfortunately.

"We had similar situations with these little runs, in between winning the ball and being spot on. We are desperate to have him back, better sooner than later."

                          Short and sweet

Jurgen Klopp is asked whether he knows what went wrong against Napoli in the Champions League and if he knows how to fix it.

                          His reply?

                          "Yes and yes."

'We want to show a reaction' - Klopp

"The timing wasn’t good in the defence, we didn’t adapt to what they did in the right way. After the game it felt much more clear that they deserved to win. Timing was not good because we felt under pressure when we were not under it.

"We had a few wrong decisions where we could have played left, not right, there was a lot of times which was close to being good but no real perfect decision. We had three days and make the boys aware of what was wrong - but I won’t forget how we played against Chelsea. We have to stay cool.

"We want to show a reaction. I didn’t want to lose at Napoli but if you ask the best preparation mood wise, it’s losing a game. We felt it now, we don’t want to have that feeling again."

'Doesn't make sense to think about the title'

"I don’t think it makes too much sense at the moment to think about the title, but it’s a home game against Man City and it’s tough. Man City is always tough, even when we won 3-0 in the Champions League. In the 4-3 they were really good. Before that they had 60 games in a row. They never gave up even at 4-1 down."

On how to beat City: "We have to be spot on, on our best to keep them away from our goal and create chances in front of our goal. They have my respect, for sure. It will be hard work, no problem with that, everybody knows it."
