They are woeful. Have already lost at Utd and Arsenal, not sure why next weekend will be much different. It's 6 sides trying to achieve something and 14 who are all just absolute ****, just some slightly less **** than others.

Curious......I thought he looked well off his best tonight. Put in a couple of nice balls, but gave away the ball too much for me, was slow in his actions and didn't provide himself as an outlet beyond one or two occasions. One half decent shot that never trouble the keeper etcOriginally posted by brightred View PostRobertson was class. He looks and acts like a captain.
Didn't help that Mane was being Mane down his side, and while he wasn't the worst by any means, he's capable of much more as we know. Average as opposed to terrible, but not one for the CV."I will make the boys feel your support"

It's a big sign of our progression that rash, knee-jerk, over-critical posts now also come after games like a point away at Arsenal where we were robbed by a poor offside decision. Instead of just after home defeats to Burnley or Birmingham City, when we've played wank.
And I mean that semi-seriously - it really is a sign of expectations. We all know we're on to something here, so I get that every point dropped is a frustration, even if objectively we've done alright.

Only saw on the telly, but I thought he had a cracking game tonight. Combative, strong, quick to get forward. The only big mistake I saw him make should have been a free-kick when he was pulled back.Originally posted by McDermotX View PostCurious......I thought he looked well off his best tonight. I dunno......he was frequently conceding possession, ably assisted by our ineffective midfield, which is quite unusual for him with probably only TAA being less successful I would think.
As a whole, I'd argue Arsenal were more aggressive and combative than us, which probably skews all our players stats towards average, but it's not a game that I'd single out for a Robbo performance by any means. Having said that, he never hid or ****ed up.
Just a proper 6/10 for me.
Edit - looks like about 70% pass success which is probably 3rd lowest on the pitch overall tonight after 90mins. Disappointing, as he's capable of far better.Last edited by McDermotX; 03-11-18, 10:57 PM."I will make the boys feel your support"

United won league after league playing like and getting fluky last minute results like they did today.Originally posted by BobTheCharmer View PostIf we keep grinding results rather than playing well, eventually it will catch up with us. No way are we getting anywhere near 93 points unless we start playing well consistently. We aren't scoring enough. Defence is loads better and top after 11 is better than in previous years. Just in city they are such a force. You have to match them game for game.
If we carry on like, I'm cool with it.Oh I don't know.

Fair enough, we all see different things when we watch a game, and I’m surprised by that stat.Originally posted by McDermotX View PostI dunno......he was frequently conceding possession, ably assisted by our ineffective midfield, which is quite unusual for him with probably only TAA being less successful I would think.

Just wanted to say too that I wasn’t referring to you with the previous post about people being over critical. That was a general point about the general negativity, not sensible posts with a bit of criticism in them.

All things considered, and yeah, we had the goal chalked off incorrectly, a point with a performance like that is not a bad result by any means. That said, it's the likes of picking up those 'extra' points against the top six that we'll need if we've any hope of topping City.
Themselves and ourselves will carve up the rest of the league, but picking up extra points against the likes of Arsenal, Spurs (done) and ManU is what might make the difference.
Still unbeaten, which is only a positive thing
