A draw would be fantastic because beating Napoli at home gets us through - I thought it would come down to the last game and hopefully it does.

Thursday night football could derail our season!

Worryingly the only way you could say we have struggled this season is on the road in Europe.

Beating PSG and Napoli beating Red Star in Italy gets us throuh with a game in hand.

Just imagine if Red Star beat Napoli and PSG beat us Proper gun fight set of last games then.

I think it is likely that Napoli will beat Red Star. But i also think we could end up drawing - or even losing. Just think that after an international break followed up by a trip to Watford and then a trip to Paris is a bit much to ask for all of our players.

Having said that though, PSG will attack us - and with big Virgil at the back controlling things and starting counter attacks - and with tracking back beneath Neymar - then we might have some joy getting at their defense.

A win here would set up our December ****in nicely. It would be great if United needed to go to Valencia to get something - 3 days before they need to come to Anfield.

More than Wednesday night? Much as European football means to us, going out completely could be real boost to our title chance.

They way they play should suit us. I think we'll create a lot of chances against them. If we're fairly ruthless I think we'll win.

Hopefully Neymar and Mbappe aren't quite 100% fit too.

You have watched our last 2 tepid European away performances right? We were worryingly woeful in both.

I love your optimism though, I'll have some please.

Clyne and Solanke haven't even made the 21 man squad

Clyne is finished at LFC & Solanke has looked way below what is needed in the senior team, think he'll go on loan though. Smart move for us and him.

Two totally different games though. I just think PSG attacking us should give us loads of room to counter-attack. Of course they will more than likely score at least one, but if we take our chances I fancy us.

Wouldnt surprise to see him move to West Ham or Soton in JAnuary.

You are probably right but wasn't there some stat floating around re teams on the Thurs/Sunday cycle doing worse than the Tues/Wed cycle. This may be due to the fact that they were just worse teams and that is why they were in the Europa league.

IF we drop into the Europa I'd like us to have a cut at winning it. It is a European trophy and guarantees top seed in the Champions league the following year.

Yep, but a tough one this year with a lot of decent sides in that tournament at the moment & with the competition to increase from CL drop outs...

What team are we expecting tonight? Lovren or Gomez at CB? TAA or Gomez at RB? I'd prefer TAA (RB) and Gomez (CB) but I expect Klopp to go with Gomez (RB) and Lovren (CB).

I'd like to see Milner, Wijnaldum and Keita in midfield but I expect Klopp to start Fabinho (and not Keita). Usual three up front with Firmino through the middle.
                                Another MASSIVE game
