To be replaced by Origi I’d say
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Would be interesting to see Origi (striker with pace) playing in front of Keita (got a good eye for a through ball).
        Another MASSIVE game

Expecting at least 5 changes, always a bit nerve wracking when we make loads but we have to at some point and these are absolutely horrendous, they made a Roy Hodgson side look like Barcelona on the weekend and didn't even get a shot on target despite trailing after 15mins.

Surely this is the time to phase Keita back in.

Wonder if this is the ideal game to give VVD a rest, he can't play every game of the season, so at some point he needs a bit of time to recover his energy levels?

But, having said that, resting VVD and Robertson at the same time would be suicide, Lovren trying to marshal Moreno would not work at all.

Matip's turn to be on the bench, attacking options preferred? Can't imagine he's out of favour, Klopp seems to like him.

At the moment it seems like the undroppable players are Alisson (which is fine as he is a Keeper) VVD and Robbo.

We have cover in all other positions and can rotate 1 of Salah, Mane and Bobby.

                    VVD and Robbo, seem undroppable.
                    Modifying post.

Against Wood and Vokes? He may well need a rest at some stage, but this certainly isn't the match for it.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Problem is we can look at any squad and pick out players where Virg would be ideal. However, at some point he will need to rest (more so will Robertson, cos he must get some miles in per game) so when is the ideal time to do so? If it's not against the bottom 3, then when?

Having said that, this is the type of game we have to win, so maybe they should start...it's a catch-22 situation.

Preferably at home and preferably against a club who's sole tactic will be to bombard the box with high balls.

We don't have that luxury coming up, but if I was to rest him, I'd do it for Bournemouth or Wolves before Burnley.

I dont think VVD really needs a rest, doesn't do much sprinting and generally just strolls around the pitch.

When we get a corner he just walks up carefree and the taker has to wait for him

I wouldn’t rest anyone for this fixture. Full strength and give a couple of players a rest if we’re comfortable.

I think there's a lot of temptation to rest either nobody or a ton of players, but I'd sooner rest just one or two at most according to the fixture, as well as the players fitness and form. I'd say one of the front three and maybe Robbo ought take a rest.
