Fabinho totally transformed the way we played. It's a shame Keita hasn't kicked on yet, because he has the qualities to be such a link, and also, to be an explosive player.
Klopp has already said Shaqiri can't play in a midfield three as he's not a half space midfielder.

Keita has been a bona flop so far. But i think he'll be a great player once he settles but I'm certainly having spidey doubts.

I hate the wee prick as well but his numbers are decent and his stats, like speed, dribbling etc are very good. He's obviously no mug.

Would be great if he wrapped his face around a lamppost on the way home tonight though!!!

I said that moment was massive, the game was 0-0, it can still be won and it can still be lost from that point. Which we did, because of Lovren's mistake and on another day they punish us for his countless other basic errors.
            Did you?

Bernardo Silva was tremendous tonight. Wijnaldum wasn't awful but not great either, he got the ball caught under his feet three times in the first half which is unheard of.

If there ever was a time to use this statement: they played at 110%.

We were very good but we missed that extra bit of push (the sort of hard challenges the ref let’s you get away with due to ‘passion’)

                    Klopp not happy with Kompany.

                    Still loves him though

They were better and deserved the win. We kept giving the ball away and they were always going to score.

They have the better squad, we know that, but were still four points ahead. Couple of weeks ago we were two points behind with Arsenal and city coming up, I dont think amyone dreamt we'd be four points ahead having played both those. Still, very little room for error from now on.

I don’t think we played our normal game. Although that is difficult to do agains a good city side - they kept the ball well, moved it quickly & kept winning second balls all game.

I feel they had the better luck - Aguero & Sane chances taken while mo & mane missed theirs. 2-2 would have been an ok result albeit they probably were the better team in the night.

Anyways, we are still top of the league - 100% believe an undefeated campaign will not happen again as the overall quality of the league is now higher than when it last happened & FFP may make it harder for bankrolled teams to pull away that far from the rest!

Sign of a good team is how we now respond in the following fixtures and have a solid champs league campaign - let your frustrations out tonight lads, tomorrow we regroup and build a run of performances & results again.

Brighton away next, let's get a win and keep up the gap!

Spurs play at home against a rejuvenated Man Utd, City play Wolves at home.

City also play Arsenal, Chelsea and Everton in February.

The thing that I worry about most rom this result is not so much our reaction but what it will do for City I can see them going on a serious winning streak, we only need to match them but it won't be easy, I think that we might need to get close to the total that they got last year to win it
