    Ki-Jana Hoever

    What a Brilliant debut.

Particularly when you consider his age (16FFS) and he was thrown in after 5 mins so literally had to instantly apply himself and his mind to the task at hand with zero prep. Thought he looked more capable at this level than Camacho or Curtis Jones who have been around the first XI for much longer.

Looked very composed I thought, particularly in that break out from the back.

A couple of understandable minor mistakes, but nothing glaring. Quality wise Reminded me of Trents debut v Man U where he also instantly looked very capable.
    Modifying post.

The one shining light from tonights game, the kids looks better than some of the seasoned professionals in the team.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Did he look better than moreno, sturridge, origi, keita, and maybe one or two others.

Yes, now get back in your gimp suit.

really impressive control and touch, you'd expect a young lad to sit deep in and keep it tight, he was half RB and half CB and looking for chances to bomb on

looks to have a bright future, based on this game alone i'm not sure what his best position will be in time, looks to have the tools to play further forward

Looks really impressive. It'll be interesting to see how we try to develop him. That was a really good debut given the circumstances
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Lovren should apologize for being a fool and give the young fella his number 6 jersey and then take the number 51 jersey as punishment for being a big fool.......

All joking aside, this fella looks like he could be a star. Fair ****s for coming in after 5 mins. He looks like he is a really intelligent footballer and the weight of his passing was brilliant.

Done very well, few little errors but very composed on the ball and all in all a good debut. 16 Crazy!

Impressive from a 16 year old. MOM, having said that the rest apart from Bobby and Salah when they came on were dire

Very impressive on the ball, but, given he's 16, he doesn't have the physical strength, and was outmuscled on several occasions, one nearly resulting in a goal.

He clearly has game intelligence, and once he calmed down, he grew into the game more. A couple of years working on his physique, and there's a player in there for sure.

What awful circumstances to make your debut:

                            - Thrown on unexpectedly without even a proper warm-up
                            - Playing alongside a CM at CB
                            - Playing next to another rookie who isn't normally a RB
                            - Playing in the same defence as Moreno
                            - With Mignolet glued to his goal line all game
                            - With Milner over-compensating and basically standing on his toes for the first 20 minutes
                            - Against the 7th best team in the country who smelled blood

Has anyone ever made a debut in tougher circumstances than that?

At times he absolutely looked like a 16 year old playing with the pros. He got brushed off the ball too easily, he gave it away cheaply a few too many times etc.

At other times he looked like a young Van Dijk. He read the game well. He was calm and composed on the ball (once he settled). He's quick. He looks like he's good in the air. And that dribble and pass

The fact that Klopp threw him on in those circumstances tells it's on story. We're going to be seeing a lot of this kid over the next few years.

Great post Pablo. Couldn't have worded it any better tbh.

                              He can only get better.
