Liverpool vs Leicester - Premier League (18/19 - Game 24)
If it's like the virus I've had recently (caught if off my daughter), it lingers on for quite a while. I've had it over a week and I still feel my energy is drained. Hopefully with the level of care professional athletes get he'll be back to full fitness much sooner than I was!
Normally under these circumstances I would say rest him for this, but given the crisis at RB (no Trent, Milner or possibly even Fabinho), that we really could do with a solid CB pairing.
I've had it too. Grim.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
Just narrows down the chances of catching something. Hit and miss but prob better than nothing.
...pharmacy mate of mine said the flu jab is supposed to protect recipients from the worse symptoms of flu - you still get the cough/cold, runny nose, etc... but just don't feel as physically wiped out as proper flu..
I'd have thought all footballers/professional athletes would be given a flu jab to help avoid weeks of downtime through illness. Maybe it's on the banned list...
Considering getting the flu jab once I'm better - will it really make any difference though? Anyone had it?
Yes it will help, missus is a nurse. She has to get jab every year. She got flu and nowhere near as bad & didn't pass it onto to me which is always a bonus!
