We've played two teams in Leicester and West Ham that both had lost 3 and 2 games back to back and were leaking goals and we have struggled to get a point out of each game and only managed to score 1 goal against each of them.

We've lost momentum, and that is really worrying, while it is not over, we have handed the initiative to City. They are back on their goal scoring run, and when they put Everton to the sword tomorrow they go top on goal difference. Which just should not even be possible, had we done our job over the last two games.

So that puts our game in hand as the Utd game. And with them on the up and unbeaten in their last 9, they will relish putting the boot in to us and derailing out title charge completely.

These draws have also brought Spurs into the picture. Last thing we wanted was a 3 horse race.

All this chopping and changing at the back is killing us. We really should have bought someone, even a stop gap, in the January window. I think Klopp has blundered there. We've had people our for over a month, and let Clyne leave on loan, so he should have got someone in.

Trying to keep the faith, but genuinely think we've blown it now.
    El Kloppo !!
"As a player I had fifth division skills and a first division brain. The result was a second division footballer"

"How could I justify picking up my pay cheque if I stand here and say the tie is over? It would be just as stupid as saying we're going to walk all over them [in the second leg]. I can always supply silly answers to silly questions...... Yes, the tie is over, but we have to play them anyway."

"I said to the referee about a lot of situations, I was really calm... it's nothing serious. He didn't respond nicely and I said, 'is that the way we talk now?' and he said, 'we don't talk at all.’”
Refs are **** and they arent even trying to be nice about it either.

Do you not think that even if we had brought someone in, they would have had to adapt, meaning it would still have required chopping and changing?

As for the Clyne issue. It's all good saying this and saying that now, but he wasn't playing regularly and asked for moving out on loan and Klopp did the humane thing. City have got the same problem at left back.

We were very fortunate with our goal last night, of course officials make mistakes and they even out to degree, but that was a crazy error. We should probably be happy about getting a point last night, a loss would have been very damaging, a draw not so much.

We do hit a bit of a rough patch at this stage every year. Only difference is this year, we're top of the league. We have Henderson, Gini, Gomez, Lovren, Arnold and Oxlade Chamberlain to come back. You could say we've done very well considering the injury list.

We are obviously going to be a bit weaker at the back when we are playing a 4th choice centreback and a 33 year old midfielder at right back but what is more worrying for me is the performance up the other end of the park.

Virtually no creativity in the middle over the last few games. Even Shaq was poor when he came on last night.

Only Mane has looked on form out of the front three. Bobby was absolutely awful last night.

Previously our attack has been able to bail out our defence but it is just not the case at the moment.

**** the humane thing this is top tier professional sports with millions on the line and a league title. Clyne came in and had a blinder vs United, obvious thst he is probably the best RB back up in the league, letting him go in Jan immediately made the squad weaker. Oh but Milner, Hendo and Fab can cover! Eh yeah to a point but that takes away from our midfield then in turn. It was a stupid decision that has come back to bite us.

That linesman should be receiving his P45 right about now.

City are back on their scoring run?

They lost the game before last 2-1.

Don’t buy into the hype. Fretting like this in early Feb is not what’s needed, we’ve no chance if we panic now(the support). We are not used to leading. That’s the truth and the fact that we’ve had opportunities to cement the lead and not taken them is frustrating.

But we remain in the lead

And we have games to make it right and another break after the Bournemouth game to get players back and fit.

No. We're still top of the league for ****'s sake, we hardly had a wobble all year. Just calm down and push back the frustration.

Awful decision, and he compounded it with another in the last minute of the first half when Salah went through on his own and he flagged him when he was in a goal scoring position and a yard onside.

Not getting all the doom , in Feb 3 points clear after a blip of 2 draws against teams that do well against the top six.

Midfield decimated by injuries , these are the games we used to lose

We were always going to have a sticky patch.

I still don't know why top level games don't have a linesperson in each quadrant.

You cant have a sticky patch against this City side. Some of our players bottle it when the pressure is on just like the last few finals we have been in.

We have had 2 chances to put 3 results between us and city and not taken them. ALL the pressure is now on us instead of on City.

I also question why the management watch us doing the same **** over and over again for 70 mins and offering no threat without making any changes. We always do it against teams that sit deep... we are still devoid of a plan B after all these years.

That being said.... if we win every game now we win the league!! There is some hopeful thinking
