Milner does a job but I think the team also misses out when he's not in midfield.

    * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Yep. We lose his pace and tenacity there and become very vunerable to any team with pace on their left flank.

TAA makes errors every now and then, but most of those seem to be an experience thing in my eyes and will fade from his game.

The only reservation I would have about starting him would be down to fitness/condition. But if he is at 100% then he has to be a starter.

I am of the thinking that a run of games somewhat close together like what is coming will be good for us. It is the sort of thing that allows for momentum to be built and for confidence to grow.

The two big gaps and trips away we had of late seemed to have us returning to play looking very flat as a team, and have us looking very rusty as a unit.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Momentum to grow as long as we win the first one. The alternative phrase is 'rot to set in' which none of us want to be hearing

Taking my step son to his first ever game tonight - 6 yo, so I’m not quite sure how it’s going to go

A year ago he had zero interest in football but over the past 12 months he’s started taking an interest, playing at school, asking me questions, watches a little bit whenive got it on at home, and we play in the park. Plus he has been going to a kids footy thing once a week for about three months or so

Had the opportunity to take him, and I thought if (big if) we do go on to win the league then when he’s older he can say he went that season

Just hope he enjoys it and doesn’t want to go home after half an hour

And you're saving him from the dark side mate - that's equally as important, more so in fact.

Nice work! I hope it's a good game for the boy and he gets totally into it.

This has to be 3 points, a convincing 3 points would be nice too. Tough game tonight and Watford will set up exactly the way other teams recently have set up against us, as it's has proved an effective way to nullify us. We need to go for a progressive midfield, if Watford are happy enough to give the midfield possession and sit deep.. we need players there that can pick a pass or will have that creative spark to break stubborn sides down. Enough of this slow, laboured, side to side ****e... it's just too easy to defend against & teams know well our only creativity is down the flanks so someone has to step up through the middle and make things happen.

****, i'd love to see us go full tilt like last season and blow teams away. The team needs a good convincing win here. Anything less than 3 points imo is a horrible result.

The lads have to show their qualities today, if they do it is a routine comfortable Anfield night. Anything less and the believers will start doubting.....

Yep, would be nice to see more fluency to the attacks, resulting in the right choices made at the right times,.

Balls fizzed into the box with people on the end of them, so common not so long ago.

If the lads can't get up for this game with so much on the line, we don't deserve to win the title. The margin for error is so small now, huge game.

No Naby again and Jim Milner has looked ****e (knackered) recently - we need a win here
