That may be right, but I think it's as long as we perform then there's not much he can do to scupper us.

But when it's a tight, awkward type of game, he always seems to favour the opposition. Like giving all the marginal decisions their way, letting them away with things that he books us for, indulging any time wasting or whatever **** housing they may be using to disrupt us. All the little things that add up to frustrate us.

Then there's the blatant stuff like not giving stonewall penalties (maybe not when we're already 2 or 3 up, but when they could actually be decisive) as against Leicester.

Atkinson is a massive bottle job. We might have a few decent results under his stewardship but it's winning in spite of his best efforts to derail us not because he's in any way decent.

He bottles big decisions that would go in our favour, but always the first to book one of our players for a 'nothing tackle'.
I'd love him to prove us all wrong at the weekend, but think he'll default to being weak as piss with decision making again, saying it's the passion of a derby. Clueless cunt.

We'd have won the league in 2014 if the spineless prick had started booking Chelsea players for time wasting when they started in the fifth minute. They'd would be down to 8 men it was that frequent

To be fair, had we allowed Chelsea to time waste for 90 mins and played our a draw, we'd have just needed to beat Palace to win the league and not have GD on our minds st 3-0 up

Sigh, I remember those last few games in 2013/14 as clear as day. Was in one of the only English pubs in Toronto every weekend, watching them.

i remember yelling at the screen to go for more goals - sigh

I was at Selhurst in the Whitehorse Road stand surrounded by home supporters. Palace relished it like a cup win

'Let's use the atmosphere' - Klopp

On the derby day atmosphere, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp said: "The Everton fans don't want us to win anything and probably for our fans it's the same.

"In the game it's very emotional and passionate, and I hope it's like that again. That's how football should be.

"At Goodison they really support their team so let's go there and use the atmosphere because it will be loud, it will be wild, and we have to deliver on the pitch."

                    Firmino to be assessed

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is hopeful Roberto Firmino can recover from the ankle injury that forced him off during last Sunday's 0-0 at draw at Manchester United but the Brazilian forward must be assessed before the trip to Goodison Park.

Klopp said: "He was running yesterday but we now have to see how he's reacted. He's very positive but that's Bobby's nature. We have to see.

"It looks really good but I don't know yet if he will be ready."

Hard but fair is key for a derby

Neither Jurgen Klopp nor any of his players have been on the losing side in a Merseyside derby.

The Liverpool boss said: "Everton will be really on their toes. It's a big one - for us and for them as well. We'll try to be perfectly prepared and play the best we can play.

"We've always played pretty good games. The last one we were in charge until the last few minutes and Everton were close to winning it, so the experience tells you if you're less than 100% spot on then you will lose.

"We've got to stay clear, stay fair, and stay aggressive, yes, but in the most legal way. That's very important."

Henderson's reaction is normal - Klopp

Finally from Jurgen Klopp on the reaction of captain Jordan Henderson to being subbed at Manchester United last Sunday and coming on as a late substitute against Watford.

“I know he was not happy but he was completely OK," said the Liverpool boss.

"As a player of Liverpool you know that you don’t play all the games and that’s a normal reaction. After the Manchester United game I told him it was nothing to do with how he is playing.”

The bile and animosity on GOT is comically OTT but you just known it's not ironic. Horrible twisted bunch of reprobates who deserve all the misery they get.

Bellew is getting a bit of stick for his reply. Was it racist? Im not sure but why go down that route...why give people the opportunity?
