Gini is better in tight spaces and holding onto the ball. Fabinho has to start. Then it's one of Keita, Lallana or Shaqiri to give the midfield balance.Originally posted by Sus View PostBurnley were also chasing the game when he came on, so there was more space for him to hit his passes
I don't think our captain is a starter

I thought it was interesting that Klopp brought off Trent for Sturridge - and moved Henderson to right back.
At the time, we were 2 goals up - and he brought a right back off and a striker on. I suspect that Milner will either move on this summer or in 12 months time - and that Henderson will become the utility player in the squad that Milner has been over the last couple of years.

I had been thinking a similar thing, I thought Henderson did better than Milner at RB has done in the game that Milner was suspended. He can only really cover midfield and RB though. Whereas Milner covers LB as well. I don't see Henderson as first choice midfielder as thing stand. With Ox coming back and hopefully Keita stepping up next year having had some time to settle, next year looks more difficult for him.Originally posted by frank the tank View PostI thought it was interesting that Klopp brought off Trent for Sturridge - and moved Henderson to right back.

This season it really does seem to.

Think that's very harsh on Milner. People said the same about him last year and he finished the season and started this as arguably our best player. He's been unfortunate recently in that he's had to play at RB and has been part of such an unpopular midfield, but it was only a few weeks ago he was excellent against Watford. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

milner was the driving force of our midfield and his support play for the wing backs was crucial to them havng a good game.removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.
