Absolutely bud. I'll never forget the first time we brought our two lads over for a match. They loved every minute of it. I makes me sick that a cunt like that could ruin such a special occasion. 8 pints me arse....shallow excuse....cunt.Originally posted by Irishnev View PostCan you tell your friend to let his kids know that this isn't truly representative of the fan base. I am Irish and I am embarrassed by that guy's behaviour.
I have two small kids and I long for the day to bring them to see Liverpool play and I can imagine how distraught and confused they must have been by this.
I truly hope that they can forget this as it should have been a live changing day in the positive sense rather than how it turned out. If would be great if the club could reach out to them and make some form of gesture to try and make them forget it.
An absolute scumbag ****** who deserves jail time for that.I love Sarah

Not spoken about this openly before, but enough water under the bridge now.Originally posted by Buzzo View PostWould be nice if the club stepped in and sorted the family out with tickets and hospitality for a game.
Should be formative memories for a family and this racist prick has ruined it for them. Hopefully the club do the right thing by them.
There was an incident last season where a lad was racially abused for asking for a ticket on twitter, I thought the club would sort him out a ticket as it was quite high profile and they never. I gave him my season ticket for the game at no cost. I was then banned by the club for violating the terms of the season ticket being for my use only and I had no right to pass it on. Despite explaining the whole situation all my appeals were lost. Was only when Peter Moore stepped in and offered the lad an apology, the lad asked why had I been banned then and it was reinstated at the personal insistence of Peter.
I was pretty shook up and felt like giving up on the club tbh. We've had loads of progress off the pitch but still lack some common sense at times.

They are almost taking advantage of the fact that you wouldn't want to highlight the fact the club have acted so callously because you are a supporter.
The thing thats annoying is that for sure, if some big money sponsor phoned up wanting extra fully comp'd hospitality the club wouldn't hesitate in complying.
When it is a normal supporter who has suffered harassment then zero ****s are given.
Thats modern football for you I guess.
But as an individual good on you for doing the right thing, thats an amazing gesture.Modifying post.

Firstly, fair play for giving them a ticket to the game. That is top form. It is very difficult to get tickets to see Liverpool play and for people who will go half a dozen times in their life, then it is a special thing. High-5 to you sir for helping that guy out. You were a advert for the true spirit of LFC fans - and should have been commended by the club as opposed to banned. Crazy ****.
Getting back to the original poster, I did read that article. What an arsehole - and horrible prick. Its great that the club have banned him and that he was arrested. I have seen racist behaviour at Anfield a few years ago - it was towards a mixed race steward who was stopping people traffic for a minute or two - and although I made a point of shouting the guy down, my regrets were that I (a) didn't think of taking a photo of the ****in gammon and sending it to the club and (b) that I didn't actually launch at the prick. The steward was genuinely hurt by what was said and I think it was my disbelief (did he actually just say that??) that stopped me from physically taking the prick down.
Regarding this whole passing tickets on thing that LFC profess to being proactive on. It is all bull****. They could go to the Throstles Nest Hotel on Scotland Road a few hours before each game, buy one of the dozens of season tickets that are being rented out for £200 (passport required to be left) and sack all those fans by dinner time. It really is a ****in joke.

Wow. That is incredible - very short sighted on the part of the club. Thank you for being so generous.Originally posted by Liverpool View PostNot spoken about this openly before, but enough water under the bridge now.

Just wondering how easy is it to ban someone. I mean theres 54,000 people there. As long as you don't buy the ticket in your own name cunts like this racist dick can get in still?I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty.
