Gigantic ****n win that. Fabinho is unbelievable. And Van Dijk, my god

How many time has Fabinho won the ball since coming on? Great passer too! I'm not sure that a 10-man selection with him in it would actually be worse than a team with that midfield. It's not that they're bad individually, It's just that they appear to be three almost identical players, doing some regular ole' midfield stuff without the ability to win us balls or to create anything in attack whatsoever. One of them per game is enough!! Why Fabinho doesn't automatically start is beyond me. And Keita was supposed to be that third creative player, but this is kinda where we look ****ed right now. Shaqiri can't get a sniff and he wasn't brilliant the last few times he did, Lallana is wank and that's it.

Up front Mane and Firmino are looking the business, but Salah has to get his head out his ****in arse. Who cares if he scores or not, just do what's best for the team and you're automatically a hero. That was really disappointing.

That winner was an unbelievably amazing moment today, but it shouldn't cover the fact that not everything is working as great as it could be right now. Had it not been for sheer luck - and not the first time this season - we'd have drawn that. A draw against Spurs itself is not too bad, but it's **** when you've already drawn four other games recently, during a title race. We can't expect goals like that to keep coming?

Totally agree mate. I'm ecstatic that we won but if we're honest, the midfield picked today didn't work. What frustrates me is that he is still going with this midfield despite some poor performances when those 3 play together. The balance just isn't right. Fabinho should be one of the first names on the sheet.

Not a great performance but we got the 3 points. These last couple of games we have made it difficult for ourselves, I would prefer a comfortable win go a goal up, get a couple more goals and see out the game, but I would be happy with the 3 points however they come as long as they keep coming.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

                    Beeb stats:

Liverpool's total of 79 points is their best tally after 32 matches of a top-flight season (adjusting to three points for a win), surpassing the 76 they had in 1987-88.

Liverpool have scored three winning goals in the 90th minute or later in the Premier League this season, their second-most in a single campaign after 2008-09 (four).

Liverpool extended their unbeaten home league run to 37 games (W27 D10) - the joint-second longest such streak in Premier League history (level with Manchester City), behind only Chelsea's 86-match run between 2004-2008.

Andy Robertson has nine assists for Liverpool in the Premier League this season; Andy Hinchliffe (1994-95) and Leighton Baines (2010-11) are the only defenders to have had more in a single campaign (both 11). [Be a good time to beat the record Robbo ]

I don't agree. They took it quicker than permitted and caught us off guard. Had they been made to wait for the ball to be stationary we would've been better prepared to deal with it

Massive. I said to myself if we somehow score now it means the 'luck' is finally with us. And you couldn't get a more luckier goal than Loris and Alderweirald managing to spursy that so perfectly.

I'm now expecting Cardiff to nick a result against City.

As far as I can work out, based on how angry they are, we've scored 175 offside goals this season stamping on the face of the opposing goalkeeper every time. And keyed their car while also taking the vieneta out the freezer they were going to serve to their date so it melted before dinner was finished. Finally, we shat in their slippers.

They are really pissed off. Vile creatures

I feel the same as I did yesterday.

Just a bit slower, might be arthritis setting in.
