Bobby Zamora shot from far out on the right, a bit of a fluke to be honest but Reina was badly positioned.

He has looked much more assured the last few weeks. Its easy to forget with his appearance that Reina is still a baby in goalkeeping terms; he's entitled to a dicky spell, the really telling thing with goalkeepers is how they recover from an inevitable dip in form and confidence, and I think Reina is showing the signs of recovering quite well right now....

Not sure about this "he had nothing to do" nonsense, at one stage about the 75th minute i believe it was the stats read ... shots on goal L10-P10, corners L5-P3......, i also recall him making a great headed clearance in the first half, he was part of the 4 man move for stevies goal, he was always looking to start an attack from his throw out by looking for oppertunities to break quickly (Garcia move) and on and on and on.....For those that remember ray Clemence was considered a great keeper, Englands # 1, some matches all he had to do was think about his love life but we wont go there, but was still a great keeper.....and before the mosquitos attack no i am not saying he is as good as RC but he could be in time. I guess there are those of us who see the glass half empty and others see it as half full.

That goal was the result of a debatable portion of goalkeeping error and a massive slice of good luck on Zamora's part. Not that I'd expect anything other than an exaggeration of the negative from you.

Reina actually positioned himself for a CROSS, Zamora ****ed it up and Reina had no chance to save it.....it was a one in a million goal, he couldnt do it again if he tried.

The Everton one looked bad, but it didnt cost us the game. The game was already lost. Reina made a good save initially, but the spin on the ball made it spin backwards after he had parried it. He did all he could to keep it out. I dont hold it against him.
