I'm watching some stream with Andy Townsend he says pen. Chris Sutton on 5 live also says pen.

I think we've had a couple of soft-ish decisions this season. This was not one of them.

No he was judging it before saying the ref was right. Much better than commentators that blurt **** out then backtrack or even worse, not at all!

On Salah’s pelanty... if referees gave a foul for that in the same way they do anywhere else on the park, players wouldn’t have to go down. It’s as a clear of a pelanty as you will ever see. Salah is stopped from being able to play - he shouldn’t have to go down for that to be given as a pel.

It'll be interesting to see what happens with players going down and VAR next season, there was talk from sky that the Robertson shirt pull would be given. Similarly though will it take away the need for a player to go down in Salah's situation because they know that the pen should be given?

Commentators and pundits are all two faced cunts anyway. All they've said for the last 10 years is felt the contact entitled to go down. A whole generation of kids have grown up listening to ex pros and hangers on utter those words and now the same ****s are calling them out for making a meal out of challenges.
