We pick a physical side. Would be tempted to chuck in Lovren, he's better in the air than both Gomez and Matip.

Fab definitely starts, as does Hendo - and I'd have Gini in there too.

    Front three picks itself.

I think Gomez might start at RB, Lovren was I’ll and didn’t make the squad for Porto so not sure if he recovered. I suspect Naby and Hendo come back for Milner and Gini.

Can’t see any reason to split up VVD and Matip at this stage.
Lovren was wobbly against Porto last week.

Gomez at right back provides a bigger risk for injury. The other night he got forward and was taken out and the way he plays and falls for me ups the chances of him picking up injuries. The broken leg came from that. A position at centre back he wouldn't have been in. He is injury prone and for me we need to limit the chances of that happening. Maybe just bad luck on his part. But he gets crunched going outside a player more than Trent does.

Anyway good to have him available. Go Joe.

I don't see any sense in playing Gomez at RB, he only played a short time since coming back from injury, RB involves a lot more running for him hence a greater risk of injury for him while we lose TAA's creativity from there. For me if we want to rest TAA then I'd stick Milner or Henderson in there.

Don't think we should be resting anyone. We rely heavily on Trent and Robbo for threat in the wide areas, also gives us perfect balance.

Agree with this Also, why risk Gomez against a physical Cardiff side?
                Another MASSIVE game

JoGo is less good at FB IMO.

TAA has far more attacking potency so no reason to change.

Neither do I but Jurgen tends to rotate certain players when he can

Perhaps on Fulham but Warnock would love to make himself relevant by taking points off us, he reeks of Allardicie, so I think we treat them like they are Bayern, give them a reason to take their foot off the gaz and I think they will take it gladly.

We best be right on it, we have all been here many many times, a on paper game we should be winning and you get to kick off on the day and the team starts off slow and you scream not now, not today.

But with Klopp guiding this team and Millie and Hendo with thier collective expereince of nearly never, I dont think we are going to take a single team lightly. I love this team, they have zero bottle in them. I'll be totally focused and up for this game again this weekend !!! What a ****ing Ride

Milner has twice been part of title winning teams so he has the right sort of experience for a title run in.

I'd just settle for the 3 points. I've a feeling it'll be a right old scrap today.

Hopefully we'll get an early goal.
