We’ve been incredibly lucky with regards to injuries to the front three, over the last two years. I really like Origi and Sturridge, but there’s too big a gulf between them and Salah, Mane and Firmino. We need better to allow for injuries, fatigue and rotation.

If Ox were to break down as a result of being rushed back from multiple ligament knee injury, then it’s not because he just wasn’t meant to have a career. It’d be because whoever’s behind that decision are reckless idiots.
