Liverpool vs Barcelona - Champions League (Semi Final - 2nd Leg)
I was heart broken after Monday and all day yesterday was riding a wave of optimism and despair of what was left of our season.
Wasn't sure how the crowd would be, slightly down on usual standards outside the ground, everyone I know was asking if anyone was coming back the pub after and everyone was a no even if we win.
Bit quiet during the warm up but when our lads went off to a huge roar, Barca players started a huddle and left to themselves on the pitch to be boo'ed and whistled like they had the ball on the edge of our box. Knew then it was going to be decent.
I'm amazed the amount of effort our lads put, would have taken 1-0 at half time prematch but thought we spent loads of energy in that half especially being the third game in 6 days and it wouldn't last the 90. Our press was insane and our full backs were winning the ball in central midfield positions, I couldn't believe how organised we were tbh.
After all the graft in the first half we pick up 2 goals for relatively light work.
I wondered if the press would drop and we would became nervous, but we continued in the same manner after 3 and then 4.
Outstanding performance from the team and the stands, even the staff and fringe squad players seemed to play their part. Almost felt like it was building to this moment, Klopp seemed pretty down prematch and he's given us fans the belief and the team and yesterday we've stood on our 2 feet for the first time properly without him holding our hand.
Amazing scenes at full time, and one by one the pub was full of everyone who were definitely not coming back.

Nice one mate. Great to get a glimpse of what it was like to be there. From the outside the entire event just seemed to build and build with key events turning the atmosphere up a notch every time.
This club don’t half deliver on the magic of the game. It was breathtaking.
I still can’t believe we are in the ****ing final. I’d given it up.
Boo hoo. He's a prick. I've always said it. He's not on Ronaldo levels of prickery, but he's not far behind him. His beard looks absolutely **** as well.
I heard at the start of the season he'd demanded to the team that they win the Champions League this year, and the team had promised him they'd win it for him. Cringe.
I literally had my head in my hands like every other Liverpool fan in utter utter amazement saying what the actual **** ... I was seriously shocked dumbfounded when that 4th goal went in
Anybody who criticizes Klopp ever is a James Blunt. Nov 2015 #****CITY

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
