How weird that if we had won it with Rodgers that year, it wouldn't have felt the same for Klopp. Well we probably wouldn't have got even got klopp. I'm still gutted we missed out, especially for Gerrard, but now we have someone who completely gets the club and city. Funny old game.

Definitely the case. The loses and near misses as painful as they were all led to Klopp, all helped shape now.
And I wouldn't trade where we are now to by where we were 6 years ago even if it meant waiting 6 years less for the title. We are in an infinitely better position now than we were thenFootball without Origi is nothing

Klopp was meant to be. To add to the weird karma, in 2013/14 we finished on 84 points while City took the title on 86. Today City can only finish on 84 points max while our name is being carved into the trophy at 86 points.
The last two games to decide the points: Palace on Wed and Chelsea on Thu.
One tit for another.

The first two can earn their medals in future years, the keeper can do one.Originally posted by Scratch View PostSo, the fringe players who haven't played enough games yet to qualify for a medal, do we think Klopp will give them enough game time now to allow them to collect a medal? Players like Nico Williams and maybe Curtis Jones? Lonergan in goal now?

I think that they will get games and will probably make it to the 5 that they need to get a medal, (Jones and Elliott are on 2 appearances and I think will get games, Williams is on 1 not so sure about, Lonergan isn't going to get any games, he's behind Kelleher who won't get any either) but I don't think that he will do it just to give them a 'free' medal he will do it to develop them, that will be the driving factor.Originally posted by Scratch View PostSo, the fringe players who haven't played enough games yet to qualify for a medal, do we think Klopp will give them enough game time now to allow them to collect a medal? This got me.My Dad, who gave me LFC has alzheimer's & in N Wales whilst I am in Hants & not seen him since Feb. We shared the final moment as the whistle went as Chelsea via video call. He was distracted about the storm outside so Mum had trouble keeping him in the moment... but he said The Storm... I added, at the end of a storm, there’s a golden sky & he carried on singing the rest. I sobbed! We will go to Anfield next season together & have our celebration.
