Next 2 games will be huge- tough games on paper but looks like it will be the best time to play united and spurs..

I’m sure they’ll raise their game but we should have too much for both them. If we’re still (at least) 8 points ahead of city after the spurs game, then I reckon we’ll run away with it.

So City can now only achieve a maximum of 106 points this season whereas we still are on for 114 obviously. To achieve treble figures City can only afford to draw 3 more games or lose 2.

They basically have to win 27 of their next 30 games, in which they have to play us twice, Arsenal twice and Chelsea twice. The rest are much of a muchness despite the beautiful teams that are Wolves and Norwich.

Thing is, if we have the league wrapped up by March, then we can rest players for our Champions League games as well.

If we made it 3 champions league finals in a row, retained our european crown and added it to our Premier League, Euro Super Cup and World Club cup titles, then it could be our finest ever season!!!

That World Club Cup is a massive waste of energy imo. It's too much of a potential injury/fatigue black hole. Send the kids and fringe players, keep the 1st team rested for the ridiculous xmas schedule and take whatever fine for not taking the competition seriously.

No one is going to give a **** about having that trophy if Virgil gets a knock or Mane looks leggy in January as a result of playing in it.

Merson has an "article" on skysports website (Well it has his picture on it anyway..... Obviously he didn't write it) saying that we wouldn't replicate arsenal's invincible season....... So that's ****in on now too!!!

The office atmosphere today

Our handyman is a blue and occasionally guards the car park to assure people who do not have a pass sneak in the car park. It's 50 yards from the turn off the public road to the car park entrance and when I saw him this morning I drove the entire 50 hards first pumping out the window

Can we win the league before march? I'd like it sooner.

In reality winning it before March is unlikely. There will be 10 games left not counting any fixture changes.

We'd need to be 31 points ahead after 28 games. That means if we won all 28 and had 84 points our nearest rivals couldn't have more than 53. That's 37 points for City in 20 games.

Could have it won before the end of March though. I think that would require 6 points off City though.
