An 8 point lead (9 on Chelsea) is massive and our form since last August 18 is staggering. Our mentality in face of adversity is something I’ve never witnessed before. We just refuse to lose.

Nothing is won yet, but we have put ourselves in an incredible position. Can we get to the turn of the year with a 6 point plus gap (why not more?) it’s the ****ing Club World Championships that are the only worry for me.

we just need to follow that game up with a win. The first game after an international break is always trick. Especially if it is away from home.

Palace away won't be easy. They will have had 2 weeks with the majority of their team and Roy Hodgson will have them well drilled and defensively organised. We will have jet-lagged players.

If we were to lose points, then the media will be out with loads of the "ohh they can't handle real pressure of being favourites" type headlines.

But if we win, then it sends Man City a nice message before they play Chelsea.

In a way it’s bigger than that though, cos if it comes down to goal difference, in the games we drop points, they would gain at least 5 more goals over us... but let’s hope it doesn’t come to goal difference [emoji123][emoji123]

Anyone else concerned by Leicester? Don't like the fact Rodgers got close before and they have no other distractions.

Leicester have a quiet schedule, plus a few of their squad have experienced winning the league before, as has Rodgers a number of times

A massive thing against them is that Rodgers knows failure in this league in a tight race, and they only got something like 78pts which will be well well short this season.

They'll be 3rd or 4th, with a fairly big gap below them

90/91 we were behind by 3 points going into the last 3 league games but finished off 7 points behind Arsenal from memory*
