Definitely Watford. Leicester are still too close though.
      Oh I don't know.

We just need to focus on racking up more points week in, week out. Not taking anything for granted with Leicester or City. Nobody thought Leicester had a chance of keeping up the level of their performances the year they won it... so there's **** all chance of me believing it's over anytime before end of Feb... and even then, only if it's mathematical nigh on impossible to beat us.

It’s a far, far, far higher level required now than when they won it. Great achievement for them but they basically topped a league of 20 **** teams. Slightly different now needing probably at least 98 points to have a chance at toppling us.

Let's try to keep winning and don't over-react if we draw or (shock) lose...title talk after 16 matches is media-fuelled, disposable plastic culture, impatient bull****. This is a marathon, not a sprint.

Everyone will drop more points. It's 100% guaranteed.

Pretty mad we only need 2 points per game from here to get 90 points, obviously that’s piss easy for us so the only question is if we go above 100.

Doubt we will as surely if we've effectively won it by April then all focus will be on CL. That could mean plenty of dropped points. Is anyone even talking about City's marvelous 100 point achievement? Can't see anything on Bluemoon.

We have a spell in January where we play the Bitters in the FA cup then Spurs away then Man U at home. That for me is the pivotal spell.

if we're 8+ clear of Leicester and Citeh after those games then Dom can start his parade thread.

We shouldn't get too carried away we had a very good start to the season, but we need to keep it going. Last year we only dropped 6 points from our opening 20 league games, and we went on to post a good points total but didn't win it. Don't count your chickens... There is still a long way to go.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

                        Far from over

It is far from over obviously.... but

City currently need us to lose 5 games. They would also need to win all of their final 22 games to win the league (or us to lose even more than 5 of the remaining games).

That’s us losing 5 games out of 22. Or one in every 4.5. It does feel unlikely with our current squad and form.

Leicester ‘only’ need us to lose 3 games, ( with them also need to win all three of their games). That’s us losing 1 out of every 7.3 games. This stat keeps us honest. But.

If we beat Watford then Leicester draw or lose to City we would be 11 points ahead of both (or 13 ahead of City and 9 from Leicester if they draw) with them having 20 games and us 21 to play.

This scenario requires them going on massive winning sprees and out form flatlining (or losing a game every 4).

So of course it’s not over (not even close) but we are in a ****ing amazing position, and if we are still 10 points clear in early Jan then.... we’ll, you know

I agree it's no over, but if we do get as many points as last season we're winning it.

We won all our games last December and it was brilliant.

Do the same this season and it will also be amazing.

Leicester away followed by wolves will both be difficult games.....win both of these and we really are cooking in gas

We don't need to 'lose' games but not getting maximum points while other teams are doing so.
                                Are we winning?
