They lost to Man U at home 2 weeks ago and drew with Newcastle 3 weeks ago. Their form is that they’ve beaten Arsenal away and Leicester at home Is that ominous?Originally posted by foresterbloke View PostCity look ominous at the moment, De bryune is doing a Gerrard.
They are blowing hot and cold if you ask me.Modifying post.

KDB is ****ing unreal but aside from him they look very flaky. We've nothing to fear. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Yep, that crazy one game winning streak is a major worry.Originally posted by foresterbloke View PostCity look ominous at the moment, De bryune is doing a Gerrard.
In all seriousness though, they've left themselves too much to do. They can go unbeaten for the rest of the season, and I'd rather they lost yesterday, but I don't think they'll catch us.Oh I don't know.

They have been flaky, but went through the gears on Sat against Leicester and KDB is in the form of his life. So it's fair for us to watch them closely, given their record over the last couple seasons.
But they definitely aren't as solid as last year, so should hopefully sloping a couple of times, probably when least expected

I feel like fans are more nervous than the players. That’s what’s so amazing about this group. It feels like they are supporting us through it, they are mentally phenomenal.Originally posted by Shaggy View Post
We are, imo, going to get beat this season, probably more than once, and we need to strap ourselves in because the sheer weight of games, and pressure, will take its toll to some extent. If we the fans start losing our **** over losing, or even drawing, a few games then it will 100% get through to the players and we've all got to keep our heads. We are obviously the best team in the league (the world) by a mile, and so a defeat or two won't define us or the season.
They must also know how much we want this and how long and painful the wait has been and are so determined to be the ones to break the drought. Imagine the status they will have if they win it.

The MEN getting carried away with themselves, and not able to count
No doubt this will be corrected, but as it stands the article reads:
It could be a 14 point lead again with them having to play a Wolves come 10 pm on boxing day. The lead was cut to 11 points with them beating Leicester. Not 8. And we have that game in hand on them. The result saw City cut Liverpool's lead at the top of the Premier League table to eight points, although the Reds do still have a game in hand, and while that margin is still significant, the result serves as a warning to Liverpool.

Since the start of last season, we've played 55 league games, won 46, drawn 8 and lost 1 by a couple of millimetres. We've taken 76 points from the last 78. We are unbeaten at home since 2017. We are strengthening the squad in January. It's only our collective paranoia from years of hurt and yearning that is blinding us from the logical conclusion of those stats.

We are 17 wins from taking the title thats assuming one of City or Leicester win every game
Just need to keep chalking off the wins and hoping they slip up againLast edited by Lecter; 23-12-19, 12:22 PM.Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."
