Alright at the moment, we are better than them in every area and there’s just a crazy mental strength and determination about these lids. Can’t see us losing to these in a final but will obviously be very nervous on the night regardless as being better doesn’t guarantee anything. Losing this would be far worse than Milan or last year.

I keep thinking about all the Sunday stuff, all the celebration pics and vids coming out, the parade etc. Alisson with his guitar, Bobby scoffing garys like smarties, Jurgen going mad with cigars hanging out of his mouth etc etc. Crazy to think that family stuff/health aside it’s gonna be one of the best weekends of my/our lives or one of the worst! No inbetween.

I’m starting to feel really nervous/excited. My stomach lurches with adrenaline when I think of he final. I want it to start and I want it to be over at the same time.

In my gut I think we will win, but I know we might not.

Considering dealing with the devastation of ‘might not’ is really where I am struggling. My son has got massively into it and seems to be constantly playing CL final clips on YouTube so it’s pretty relentless.

How is everyone else baring up 48.5 hours before kick off?

I’d only do that if I was tanked but I promise you I’ll play nice
